Detective Main

Detective Main.

It was a dark night. Detective Karol Main sat calmly in his chair. He only emerged from his office when the pipe he lit at 7:00 PM had run out. He had a long, brown mustache and a light, black coat. If necessary, he could be called an eccentric. This was because, with his true detective attire, he wore a blue cap—with the visor turned backward.

He was just about to leave his gloomy office when a person knocked on the door. It was an elderly woman of about fifty-eight.

"Hello," she said in her squeaky voice. "Sir, someone stole my purse."

"Okay. What color was it?" Mr. Karol asked the basic question.

And so the woman named Krystyna gave her statement. The detective usually disliked such trivialities, but lately, with the lack of clients, he had to do something. After completing the paperwork, he went upstairs to his cozy apartment.

In the morning, awakened by the noise in the street, he dressed and read the documents. Lately, the competition had intensified. Detective Konrad had been competing unfairly. He organized various crimes himself and extorted rewards from the commission. Until he arrived in the city, Detective Main was the best. Now, unfortunately, everyone goes to him.

"Yes..." Karol muttered. "That bag." Hmm...

He went out into the field and began searching. He scanned the streets. "Finding a bag like that in the city is like finding a needle in a haystack," he thought. So he decided to look for some thugs or thieves. He went to the sad, old district of Brudas (that's what it was called). He saw many drunks lying against the walls and boys kicking another. He approached them. "

Why are you beating him?" he asked calmly .

One of them pulled out a knife.

"Piss off, you scum..." and he didn't finish. Mr. Main grabbed his arm, snatched the knife away, and threw it away. The others rushed at him. However, he cleverly blocked the others' blows and dealt with the vandals. However, something strange happened unexpectedly. Someone shouted, "It's him!" and five men attacked the detective. He didn't give up. He fought bravely, but he had to give in. He got up, sore, and then he got up from the ground. The men who had beaten him were running away.

"As soon as I caught them..." he muttered. He lifted his head and saw salvation. The wallet of one of the robbers.

The detective went home. He applied plasters to his wounds and bandaged his knees. After those cuts, he didn't have the strength to face the thieves alone. So he called his friend, Kamil. Kamil, of course, was happy to help his friend. Together, he went to the workplace of one of the thieves. As they had expected, it wasn't a factory, but a gang hideout.

He found the people who had beaten him there. He hid behind a wall. As one of the gang members passed, he grabbed him, beat him, and stripped him. He dressed in his clothes. Kamil did the same with another. Detective Main thought his plan was flawless, but he was wrong. A man standing far behind him saw him in action. He pulled a gun from a crate and aimed it at Main.

"At him!" he shouted and fired a shot. He missed. The detective turned and fired two shots directly into the chest. Everyone rushed Main. Karol was clever, and as he ran through the group, he skillfully took out others with a knife.

The fight lasted a long time. Main struggled with the others and occasionally fired shots. Karol, meanwhile, continued as before: he defeated the attackers with a knife. Fortunately, no one noticed that people were dying because of him. When he noticed the detective was struggling, he grabbed a machine gun lying in a trunk. He climbed onto a crate. Then he climbed onto another crate.

"Good idea," one of the bandits said, thinking he was a member of the mafia. "Bro..." but he didn't get to finish, because Karol started shooting. As soon as he pulled the trigger, he held it until he'd shot everyone.

"Thanks," the detective shouted.

"Ha, ha!" someone laughed from above. Konrad was standing there. The other detective in town. "That's what you're looking for," and he pulled out a purse just like Krystyna was looking for.

"It's you!

" "Yes. I planned it all. I paid an old lady to frame you, and what? You could have guessed that thieves don't leave wallets on the street. You thought it would be that easy. I thought you wouldn't be so stupid, but... Now you're going to die!!!"

The detective was surrounded by bandits. He was wondering what to do. Suddenly, a shotgun (a machine gun) fell from the sky. Kamil threw it at him. The detective didn't hesitate, took it, and shot everyone around him. Then Konrad was left behind. Stal, disappointed with his failure. He pulled a shotgun from behind his back and fired two shots. One missed Main, the other killed Kamil. Main, tearful at the loss of his friend, screamed. He threw himself on the floor and filled Konrad with lead. He won the battle, but sacrificed his friend's life. He had no family, no parents, and because of him, Konrad died. He put the rifle to his own head. CRACK. And he died...
