# 📖 STORY I — CHAPTER X## **Passage to a World That Doesn't Exist**

Anna was no longer human.
Not entirely.
Her body, memory, and soul had become something in between—a doorway between what was alive and what shouldn't exist.

A world stretched out before her, looking like a town, but each element trembled and pulsated, as if breathing with its own, unknown rhythm.

The house continued to grow, built of fog, of souls, of memories and shadows. Every board, every wall, every ceiling was formed from the memories of the living and the dead, weaving everything into one.

--

## Something Passes Through

From the opening that Anna had become the door, "something" began to flow.
It couldn't be named. It couldn't be described.

It was black as night, yet gleaming like a mirror.
It was cold and hot at the same time. It was quiet and full of whispers at the same time.

The townspeople who remained alive felt the first touch of this presence: shivers ran down their spines, their eyes froze halfway open, and their breath escaped.

--

## Marek Reveals the Truth

"They're not ghosts..." Marek said, looking at Anna with his glassy gaze again.
"They're not people. They're something older. They're 'time,' 'space,' 'memory'—everything you can't control."

Anna understood.

She couldn't stop the house anymore.

She couldn't stop the ghosts.

She couldn't stop herself.

"What have I done?" she whispered.

"You've become a bridge," Marek replied.
"A bridge through which everything returns."

--

## Takeover

"Something" began to penetrate the living.

It didn't kill them, but absorbed their memories, creating new forms.

Some screamed, others remained silent, and some became eerily calm, as if realizing their selves were in the process of changing.

The fog and the house were merging into one.
The house no longer had foundations or walls.
It was everywhere and nowhere.
It was in the air, in the walls, in the earth, in their bodies, and in her body—in Anna.

---

## The Last Frontier of Humanity

Anna felt herself losing herself.

She wasn't Anna.

She was no longer human.

She had become part of something larger.

Something that would never have a name.

The Lady of Clocks appeared beside her, lifting the clock like a pendulum's blade.

"Your body is a passageway, Anna." Her voice was cold, yet filled with a strange calm. "Now everything begins."

Anna opened her eyes, though she no longer had them physically. She understood that the house and the ghosts don't return...
They **create a new world**, and she is what allows it to exist.

--

## The last sentence of the chapter

And then Anna, becoming a bridge between the living and what should remain dead, felt the first flow of "everything"—time, memory, life, and death blended into one...

**And the house opened its doors forever.**

---

If you want, I can now write an **epilogue and finale to the whole story**, in which:

* Anna fully becomes a presence between worlds,
* the town disappears from reality,
* ghosts and the living are entwined into a single new existence,
* time and space are forever distorted.

Would you like me to do that?
