## **1. Anne Boleyn in the Tower of London – The Headless Queen**

After Anne Boleyn's execution in 1536, many people claimed to have seen her ghost.
Legend has it that:
One night, a guard walking around the White Tower saw a woman's silhouette in the darkness holding **something** in her arms. He approached and saw… **the queen's head**, which the ghost was carrying like a baby. The terrified guard lost consciousness, and the next day he was never able to return to night duty.

According to legend, a long time ago, a young nun fell in love with a layman.

Catherine Howard, Henry VIII's fifth wife, fled down the corridor upon learning of her death sentence and desperately **knocked on the king's door**, begging for mercy.
