Svetochka

A tragic incident occurred in a family of friends: their five-year-old daughter, Svetochka, died in a very strange way. It happened in the evening. They were having guests over—they were sitting in the kitchen, chatting heart-to-heart, while Svetochka was playing with a doll in the next room. The child was terrified of the dark; she could only sleep with the light on—as soon as the light was turned out, she would become hysterical. The adults were chatting, the child was playing, and suddenly there was a knock at the door. The mother opened the door, but no one was there. Then the kitten, which Svetochka had recently been given as a gift, hissed, reared up, and started throwing itself at the door. Unable to calm it down, they threw it out the door to recover.

Some time passes, and the family decides to have tea and cake. They spill the tea and call Svetochka. She doesn't answer. The father goes looking for his daughter and enters the room where she was playing—no one is there. This alarmed him, as a girl afraid of the dark would hardly have gone into the other rooms. He looked in the bathroom and toilet – she was gone... He started running from room to room, but couldn't find her. He panicked and suddenly saw a bluish glow coming from the far room. He entered – the light was coming from under the table, covered with a tablecloth all the way to the floor. He lifted the tablecloth, and there was a dead light... As soon as he lifted it, the glow went out.

So, there was an accident: the child accidentally hanged herself. There was a rope stretched between the table legs (where she got it, no one knows – maybe from the balcony), and the child's neck was wrapped in this rope. She was lying in an unnatural position, her arms and legs twisted.

Of course, this was a terrible tragedy for her parents. Her uncle came for the funeral. That night, he slept in her room. And he had a very realistic dream - he was lying on the bed, and then Svetochka came up to him, said hello and told him what had happened to her: "I was playing in the room with my doll when someone knocked on the door. Mom opened the door, and there stood some mustachioed man. For some reason, Mom didn't see him, but Tishka (the kitten) noticed him right away. He didn't like the uncle, he jumped on him, and Tishka's mom threw him out the door for this. He called me by name, took my hand, offered to play and dragged me into the black room (that is, into the room without light, where she was later found). I resisted, screamed, called for Mom, but no one came to help (neither the parents nor the guests heard the child's cries). He climbed under the table with me, pulled the rope and said that now we were going to play. He wrapped it around my neck, put my head on his stomach and began to press. At first, I tried to break free, but he told me not to be afraid—that it was necessary...” My uncle woke up in shock, his heart was failing, and they called an ambulance.

This incident still haunts the family and friends. The child's body position was very unusual and hardly resembled suicide or an accident...

Several years passed. A friend of a friend met a powerful psychic and persuaded him to help the girl's parents—to summon Svetochka's spirit to find out what had happened to her. They succeeded. Through the psychic, Svetochka confirmed that she was the one who had visited my uncle in his dreams. She said that even now she doesn't know where she is, that it's dark and she's completely alone, and that sometimes this man comes to her and scolds her or hits her. She also said that there's another girl nearby, whom she often hears but has never seen. She said he forbids her from communicating with anyone...

That's such a strange and terrifying story. I know skeptics will say that none of this can be true. I myself would be glad if this were a fiction; everyone in that family was absolutely healthy and sane.
