Temptation
This story happened when I was still dating my future wife, Dina.
One night, I stayed overnight at her place and was awakened in the middle of the night by my girlfriend's caresses. I opened my eyes: she was naked, sitting on top of me, clearly indicating that I wanted to make love to her. I was already eager to respond to her caresses, but her overly cold body alarmed me. I thought she was cold and decided to cover her with a blanket. I turned my head and saw Dina sleeping peacefully next to me! The naked girl sitting on me immediately disappeared.
I lay there for a few seconds, processing what I'd seen. I came to the conclusion that I had dreamed it after all, and then Dina, lying next to me, began shaking with fear and pressed herself against me. I hugged her and reassured her.
In the morning, I asked her what kind of nightmare she'd had. It turned out she'd dreamed that I'd started making advances on her. She was about to reciprocate, when I suddenly leaned over, bit off a lock of her hair, and said in a strange voice, "Nostalgia!" Then, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that the real me was still sleeping to her left. And, just like in my vision, only she noticed it, the "strange me" disappeared.
That morning, I didn't scare her by telling her about my nightmare. Only a few days later did I admit that something similar had happened to me.
Later, about a year later, I was visiting someone and came across a book by the French occultist Papus. I flipped through it out of boredom. It talked about black magic. In one chapter, I read about demons called incubi and succubi who come to women and men at night and try to seduce them. And supposedly, if the demon succeeds, it will take possession of the person's soul. Perhaps it was they who came to Dina and me?.. In that case, I'm glad we didn't give in to temptation.
