Awakening for the Child

On January 14, 2001, Shannon Kranzberg gave birth to her daughter, Megan, while in a coma following a car accident in Dallas, Texas (USA) on November 16, 2000. Then, amazingly, a week later, Mrs. Kranzberg awoke from the coma and realized that she had given birth to a daughter.

"I just woke up when I saw the baby was there ," Shannon told The Dallas Morning News. Doctors said Megane was born two months premature and had a staph infection, which Shannon contracted upon arrival at the hospital.

Michael Kranzberg had come to terms with the grim possibility that his daughter might never be born and his wife might never regain consciousness. When Shannon and Megan were released from the hospital on March 15, Michael told the media that Shannon was his hero and offered their miracle as a testament to anyone who might be in their situation: always keep the faith.

BUTCH, HERO OF THE GALAXY.

The C-class intergalactic fighter, aptly named " Balbina ," glided with characteristic grace toward the constellation Beta D . The unassuming craft, shaped like a Coca-Cola bottle with the neck cut off, moved through the vastness of the universe with incredible grace. Inside the fighter, in a somewhat cramped cabin, sat a rather young, tall man with expressive features and a thick shock of black curls. The man was busily typing something on a computer, perhaps to sweeten the task while sipping a glass of whiskey. "Come on! Get the hell out of there, old geezer!" his irritated voice could be heard. As if to spite his words, the computer screen still displayed the message: " I'm sorry, Butch , the selected operation is impossible to complete." Already deeply frustrated, he threw a glass of whiskey with all his might at the metal door behind which lay the Balbina's mess hall.
