Mother Meera: Paramatman is everything; Shakti is only a part of him, a small part of his Power and Light. Paramatman creates everything. Shakti, the gods, and goddesses, care for creation. Shakti possesses greater power than the Divine Mother. Shakti has no form, even though we imagine her as having one. She is worshiped independently of the worship of Paramatman and acts independently of our prayers. Shakti is not subject to control. By praying to her, we can only surrender to her. The Divine Mother, on the other hand, answers our prayers. She responds to human love and cares for humanity, encouraging harmony and peace.
Question: Is the Divine Mother completely submissive to Paramatman?
Mother Meera: There is a mutual understanding between the Divine Mother and the Paramatman. It is not a matter of surrender.
Question: What is the difference between the Divine Father and the Divine Mother?
Mother Meera: Father is stricter, Mother is more loving, gentler, more patient, more accepting.
Question: If Buddha is the embodiment of the power of enlightened mind, then what is it that you represent?
Mother Meera: I help in every way, wherever I am needed. The power of a Mother is that she is not endowed with one great power, but with all of them in part.
Question: Are there other incarnations of the Divine Mother on Earth?
Mother Meera: Yes, many. Some are well-known, others prefer to remain hidden. The work of each expresses a different aspect of the Divine Mother. My scope of work is broad. I help people at every stage of their lives, and I also collaborate with Sri Aurobindo and Sweet Mother.
Question: If the Divine Mother is love, why is there so much suffering in creation?
