Friendship over love"
Patrycja and Ola hated each other from the first grade of elementary school to middle school. They competed in everything. However, Ola, who was more popular with everyone in the class and even at school, didn't want this unhealthy rivalry. But every day for the past few years, she's been forced into it.
One Monday, during homeroom, which was the first period, a handsome boy showed up. The teacher introduced him to the class and told him to sit down. Ola looked at him. She thought his name, Konrad, suited him. She immediately liked him and began to think of ways to get his attention. However, Patrycja, seeing her eyes fixed on the boy, touched her. He wasn't her type, but she wanted to show her rival that she could be better at something. So she set her sights on a goal: she would go out with him, and knowing her abilities, she knew it would be a piece of cake.
For the next few days, Patrycja flirted with Konrad, exploiting all her charms, and the entire class was delighted to see her in action. However, only Ola felt something uneasy in her heart. She guessed the boy liked Pati more, but she couldn't resist the temptation to flirt with him too. Finally, one day, Konrad asked Patrycja out. The girl couldn't resist the temptation, and when she was with her two friends and Ola was nearby, she had to boast out loud. Olka broke down. She couldn't even think straight in class anymore. Finally, she summoned the courage and asked Patrycja to talk.
"What? I don't need to talk to you. Besides, you see, I'm better than you... I won over that ugly Konrad.
" "I... I just want to ask you this... Because I like him.
" "You know what? You're pathetic, but I'll do it for you. I'll break up with Konrad. You can enjoy this bastard.
" "Why bastard?
" "You'll see..."
The next day, Ola took action and confessed to Konrad that she liked him. Eventually, after sorting out other things, they started going out together. Unfortunately, Patrycja was rejected.
The next day, Ola and Konrad went for a walk. They went to a café and chatted pleasantly. Suddenly, her boyfriend's phone rang while he was in the restroom. She didn't know what to do, but she finally answered because people were looking at her strangely. When she answered, a very gentle yet cheerful female voice answered.
"Hi, honey! What are you doing?" the voice said, unaware that no one else had answered.
"Um... Hello?" Ola said uncertainly.
"Who's this? His sister? Could you put Konrad on the phone?" she said, her voice a bit subdued.
"He can't come in now. He's in the restroom." Ola, unsure of what was happening, began to wonder what Patrycja might have meant.
"Then tell him I called and wanted to ask what he wanted for our anniversary. Okay? Thanks in advance. Bye!"
Ole was speechless. So she started to guess correctly. When Konrad returned from the restroom, Olka started yelling at him and calling him the biggest jerk in the world. The boy pretended he didn't know what he was talking about, but girls aren't that stupid...
At school, after all this, Ola approached Patrycja. She wanted to apologize, but the bell rang and everyone went into class. During the next break, she managed to catch up with her.
"Patrycja, I'm so sorry..."
"For what?? You haven't done anything to me lately." And she looked at Ola as if she were stupid.
"You're still asking? That I didn't listen to you... You warned me I'd find out he was a bastard. Because our Konrad had another girlfriend when he was dating us. His name is...
" "What?" I didn't know about that... Oh well... I'll pay him back for that.
"You know what, maybe we should hang up our guns for a while and figure something out together. What?"
Patrycja nodded hesitantly and reluctantly. They started talking, and Pati came to the conclusion that Ola wasn't the mean girl she thought she was. She didn't even want them to be rivals anymore, just good friends, so she suggested a trip to the mall. Olka felt a bit uneasy because she didn't know what she might be up to, but she agreed. They were supposed to go that same day at 4:00 PM.
At the mall, they chatted and laughed together. Each of them had forgotten they were ever rivals. And suddenly, an opportunity arose to get revenge on Konrad. They had just seen him walking with his girlfriend, Karolina. And they immediately approached them.
"Hey, honey!" and seeing his bewilderment, Olka added, "What, you don't remember us anymore?"
"Didn't you feel good about going out with two girls at once?" Patrycja added, deliberately.
He looked at them and said nothing. But Karolina wouldn't let him go.
"Konrad, do you know these girls? And are they telling the truth?" she asked indignantly.
"Uh... I know them, and they're telling the truth." He knew he had no chance. "But it's not what you think!
" "Really? I think you can guess everything! I'm breaking up with you!" She turned to the girls. "Maybe you can tell me exactly what happened?"
They agreed and went to sit down at a café to calmly recount everything, even the more risqué situations. All three decided to take revenge on him. However, Karolina had to be home soon, so they arranged to meet at Ola's the next day.
At Ola's house, while everyone was sitting on the floor, instead of plotting revenge, they were watching a movie starring Hugh Grant. Suddenly, they saw Konrad standing by the door to their room. They looked at him in disbelief, wondering how he had gotten there. First, he knelt before Patrycja and began begging for forgiveness and to come back to him. However, she wasn't stupid and refused. After his defeat, he ingratiated himself with Ola and began begging her. But she refused. Only Karolinka broke away and agreed to forgive him. Patrycja and Ola glared at her murderously, but she simply declared, "You have to forgive people," and they left together.
"You know what? Sometimes I don't understand people..." Patrycja sighed
. "Me too. Unfortunately, there won't be sweet revenge forever," Ola replied. "Patrycja, let's not argue anymore. Why compete with each other when we can work together?"
Patrycja froze for a moment. When she finally moved, she looked at Ola and smiled broadly.
"Sure! I'll be honest, I had a completely different opinion of you before this sick situation arose :P.
" "Yes?? And what was it?" she asked with a smirk and irony. "
Hehe... Certainly worse than I have now. At least I didn't know you were such a cool girl... Forgive me?
" "Of course! And this Konrad wasn't such a handsome fellow at all :P.
" "Well, yeah... I didn't like him from the start. He played unfairly and wasn't my type at all.
" "You mentioned something once that you didn't like him. And I'm coming to the conclusion that the guy is a pig." She came to the right conclusion.
"Yes, you're right. I prefer good friends, not a guy like Konrad, for example."
And they burst out laughing. They realized they shouldn't have argued so fiercely from the beginning of their relationship.
From then on, they spent a lot of time together and were practically inseparable. They even started sitting at the same desk. And so, from the impossible, which was a fierce rivalry between two people, a great friendship was born.
