A Mosaic of Obvious and Hidden Prophecies

Every prophecy of Nostradamus given between 1555 and 1566, relating to the past and present times, has come true , Goethe supposedly noted at one time.

Since the astrologer's death, numerous attempts have been made to decipher the wisdom contained in his prophecies. Unfortunately, these attempts have not always been fruitful. This may have been due to the complexities, symbolism, and ambiguity of the visions, or their misunderstanding at the moment of approaching fulfillment. On the other hand, when something significant did happen, it suddenly turned out that this event had been quite clearly foretold in the astrologer's history. At such times, Nostradamus's words were always recalled: in a playful play of thousands of obscure rhymes, he reveals and conceals future events in the lives of great potentates and a long series of other events, but these prophecies will only be revealed when a given condition manifests itself in the physical world.

Elsewhere, the astrologer also stipulates that no one should reveal the arrangement of the centuries before the year 2000. One wonders why such a symbolic date was included? According to Leszek Schuman, in one of his quatrains, Nostradamus also comforts future scholars that a full deciphering of his prophecies will not be possible before 2050.

So, only then will the century code be broken, which consists of various metaphors, new names, rearrangements of letters and syllables in words, non-chronological arrangement of century stanzas, the use of words from various old languages, allegories, images from old myths, cryptonyms, etc.? So, only then will the time come for it to become more widely available to the general public the truths that Nostradamus described as a kind of wisdom. He believed that the entire world was governed and built according to "God's plan." Thus, he wanted to prove through his prophecies that such a plan actually existed and that he had seen fragments of this plan. His clairvoyance of the future was to confirm and prove to contemporaries of many generations that the evolution of humanity is not merely the result of uncoordinated causes and facts of external life and action, but is subject to the guidance of a superhuman, higher consciousness, in relation to which human consciousness is similar to the consciousness of, for example, a crab.

The clairvoyant also believed that it is not good to know one's future when one is not prepared for it and when one is not spiritually developed, because the knowledge of future fate would induce irresponsible, spiritually undeveloped people to oppose the planned evolution and would hinder its progress; morally weaker individuals could also break down, expecting the blow that was inevitably to hit them.

Despite these conditions, which render almost all predictions for future generations worthless, attempts to see the future through the eyes, or rather through the visions, of Nostradamus are still being made. However, approximately 300 quatrains, whose meaning—with the exception of a few—was discovered after their fulfillment, are no longer interpreted.
