Nostradamus - the prophet of the ages
Michael Nostradamus, the renowned astrologer and clairvoyant, left an indelible mark on history through his prophecies, which continue to generate controversy and fascination. Born in 1503, Nostradamus, in works such as "Centuries," predicted the future of the world, referencing political events and natural disasters. His prophecies, often shrouded in mystery and interpreted in many ways, include visions of the end of the world and major changes in Europe. Today, hundreds of years later, scholars continue to decipher his complex visions, raising the question of whether the sages could truly predict the future. When busy at night studying the secret
I sit alone on a bronze tripod
a small flame igniting in solitude
allows me to predict what can be believed
Before the general burning, there will be so many floods that there will be no land left that the water will not cover... (...) We are now in the 7th millennium, which ends everything and brings us closer to the 8th millennium, in which the great God will put an end to this upheaval...
These words were written in 1555 by Michael Nostradamus, the famous astrologer, physician, and clairvoyant, who foretold the world's political future, in a letter dedicated to his son Caesar. The information provided about the end of the world in the 8th millennium should be interpreted within the biblical chronology used by the clairvoyant. Five thousand years passed from the creation of the world to the birth of Christ. Therefore, we are currently living at the end of the seventh millennium.
In another letter, this time dedicated to King Henry II of France, the bard lists more detailed signs by which the impending doom can be recognized.
Thus, there will be a solar eclipse blacker and gloomier than any other since the creation of the world—except for the one after the death of Christ. This will occur in October, and the globe will undergo a great movement, so immense that it will be believed that the earth's natural gravitational pull has lost its balance and that it is sinking into the abyss (...) of the blackness of space. At the same time, according to Nostradamus, signs and wonders will appear in the spring, extreme changes. States will be overthrown, and the earth will tremble.
