Mental castration

This article addresses the issue of so-called mental castration, addressing the current economic situation in both the US and Poland. The author points to the widespread belief that economic recovery lies in the hands of the government, which leads to citizens' inaction. Instead of taking initiative, many people wait for external support, which hinders development and innovation. The author highlights the need for individual responsibility in the fight to improve the economic situation and encourages independent thinking and action.

It seems the economy is a bit like the weather—everyone complains about it, but no one does anything to change it. What can one person do about the weather? Nothing! And what can that person do about the economy? Again, the answer is—nothing. In fact, people have come to believe that only one person—the president—can fix a broken economy.

A year ago, I stated that the prospects for financial support were close to zero. I said the chances of receiving it were slim. Now, a year later, more people are unemployed, more banks have failed (though the mainstream media isn't reporting this), and more foreclosures have occurred. Economists tell us the economy is rebounding, but no one who pays close attention actually notices it.

You hoped the economy would turn around. But hope is a delusion. Entrepreneurs in Detroit, USA, hoped to produce more cars; in Montana, they wanted to convert coal into gasoline for your cars; and in California, they wanted to create electric cars that wouldn't need gasoline. So if such hopes were entertained, why didn't they come to fruition?
Because most of you have experienced mental castration. Some of you know it's true, but few have the courage to speak up. I'm talking to you, hammers!

You might ask, what is mental castration? It's the inability or unwillingness to think independently. In the case of economics, it's the reluctance to start a business venture. Who castrated your mind? The government, of course, but who else?

You've been brainwashed into believing the government will fix everything, so you wait for instructions from them on what to do. After all, the government bailed out banks, insurance companies, the construction sector, and the auto industry. If you eliminate all government subsidy programs, there will be no economic growth. The government only supported key businesses that can generate numbers on Wall Street and drive growth in key economic sectors.

If the government says so, it must be true. No refinery has been built in Montana because the government hasn't yet decided whether, or how much, to tax the coal produced during refining. Everyone is afraid to make any move without government approval. As a result, in the meantime, no new jobs are being created, and no funds are being invested in areas that could see real growth, because no one wants to take the initiative and do what needs to be done.

It's like people have one thumb in their mouth and the other in their anus, waiting for the government to yell, "Get involved." Man, that could really destroy you!

One person can't change the economy, but all of us together can, if we just take action and stop waiting for the government to fix something it can't. Wake up, people, because for now, you're stuck in the financial matrix.
