Vision

My family and I live in a dorm. That day, I was sitting in my room doing my homework. I was staring at my notebook, writing something, and suddenly I felt someone looking at me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a woman with long hair (that's all I remember) standing to my right, wearing some kind of blue robe. I turned around abruptly—no one was there. Actually, at first, I thought it was my mother—she has the same long black hair and is wearing a blue robe. But at that moment, she was washing dishes in the kitchen, and the hallway leading to the front door runs through our kitchen.

I ran to my mother to tell her about the vision and saw her also standing there, perplexed. I asked her what had happened, and she said she'd just seen a shadow run down the hallway. She went out into the hallway but didn't see anyone. And no one was home at the time—no neighbors, no father or brother. No one at all—just me and Mom.

I'm still wondering what it could have been—after all, as soon as that woman disappeared from my sight, someone ran past the kitchen. Mom insists there was definitely someone there.
