Mushroom Steak Plate with Creamy MashedPotatoes



Ingredients:
• 2 beef steaks (about 200–250g each)
• 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
• 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
• 2 tbsp butter
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 cup beef broth
• 1 tbsp flour or cornstarch
• 1/2 cup milk or cream
• 1 cup broccoli florets
• 1 cup asparagus
• 1 cup carrot sticks
• 1/2 cup green peas
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• Salt, to taste
• Black pepper, to taste
• Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

1. Boil potatoes until soft, then mash with butter and milk
until creamy.
2. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot pan
with olive oil for 3–4 minutes per side.
3. In the same pan, cook mushrooms and garlic until
browned. Stir in beef broth and flour mixture to create a
rich sauce.
4. Sauté broccoli, asparagus, and carrots until tender-
crisp. Warm the peas separately.
5. Plate the mashed potatoes, vegetables, and steak
together.
6. Spoon mushroom sauce over the steak and garnish
with parsley.
