Nameless - Prologue

A dark pile of fallen trees in the middle of the forest,
Destruction, the absence of time's saving power,
A sad wind howling through the valley of shadows,
A man was here, everything devoid of green,
Now only gray, gloomy is rot,
Mother Nature will no longer recognize her own creation.

A deathly pale foot wrapped in bandages,
A face full of scars; wrinkled by the wind of time,
a robe like a devil's garment, all bloody,
A saber, twisted by the suffering of the slain,
The blood of those who perished—stains on the hilt,
The liquid of life will not leave the clenched fists.
The man whose name is Nameless,
Death has renounced him, life will bear the burden.
He is to wander this dusty domain forever,
The gates of hell will never be seen by his gaze,
He will not reach the clouds either,
Forever and ever, Amen, he will remain in the midst.

The Nameless One entered the clearing of destruction.
It was here that the God of Murder sought his possessions.
His black arms, armed with claws,
took away the souls, screaming, terrified.
The world in its rush will soon forget them.
Only the wind will humbly honor their souls with its whisper.
He, whose name death itself had long renounced,
walked the path where blood flowed from boulder to boulder.
He stood among the ruins, looked around.
No one would recognize the torn bodies anymore.
The Nameless One possessed a drop of power within himself.
He sensed a grim force on this human grave.
The eighth color given to magic he could perceive himself.
The color of spells, an ocarina, steamed from the bodies.
The sorcerer in sin opened the doors of Death.
He will perish, the harvest of a beautiful lady will multiply, the fool will multiply.

The saber in his gray hand trembled uncertainly.
The rustle of boots, rapid breathing, his blood boiled.
Like an embittered lion, he gave chase,
and to overtake the murderer, he labored greatly.
His face, startled and terrified, looked
into the blazing eyes; the mountain of angry flesh,
"Who are you?" His lips parted in fear,
"Nameless! Your deeds will be avenged!"
The magician said: "Did God or the Devil give you such a right,
to hold people accountable for their own sins?"
"For the heap of my sins, beautiful Lady Death told me,
That I would never know heaven or hell,
As long as human evil exists in the world."
"Are you so naive, or are you perhaps mistaken?
As long as a man must dig up the gray earth with his hand,
So long does his body tempt his soul to evil."
Sadness appeared faintly on the hunter's face,
The saber hung ominously, the sadness faded.
"So if this is to give me my desired death,
I will kill everyone if they waste their lives on evil." An ominous
whistle pierced the still air.
The evil magician - the evil man, will no longer enjoy life.
The wind will whisper, evil wolves will howl.
The dying man's words were:
"O God almighty! Why did you create man?
Since you made him your miserable game!"

A crack, a flash, a roar, a scream, a deathly pale horse appeared.
The Nameless One quickly smelled the scent of Lady Death,
He looked into her face, saw empty eye sockets,
"When will you take me? You will end my life's toil."
"I WILL NOT TAKE ME UNTIL A SINNABLE MAN LIVES HERE,
SUCH IS YOUR CURSE: GOD ORDERED YOU TO BE ETERNALLY."
