# ⭐ **EXTENSIVE SUMMARY – PART V**

 

After the events of Part IV, Zofia, Janek, and Jakub return to the forest, where an extraordinary phenomenon occurs – nature begins to react to the presence of runes, and the earth pulsates with energy. Zofia experiences true power for the first time, a power she had previously been unable to consciously evoke.

A mysterious being appears in the forest – a shadow with a human silhouette, but without a face. Its name is "He." Its appearance causes Skalin to lose power, and an ancient energy, trapped there centuries ago, begins to awaken beneath the town. The entire town begins to feel the effects of this awakening – the ground trembles, the lights go out, and people feel uneasy, though they don't know why.

Zofia returns home and finds her grandfather's diaries, which have shifted their location as if someone had removed them themselves. In the final pages, she discovers that her grandfather's death was no accident, and his research into runes still holds significance for current events. Records suggest the existence of a "Circle," a multi-generational gathering of people who watch over the balance of the runes.

Jakub confesses to Janek that he fled during the previous battle not only out of fear but also because he knew the entity would return for him. Tensions grow between the two, but the approaching darkness forces them to cooperate.

The mysterious entity declares that it has returned "for its own" and wants to take over the city, as well as those who possess a fragment of the ancient runic heritage. Zofia begins to understand that she is the key link—her power is no accident.

The earth tears apart, runes appear everywhere, and energy begins to emerge from the underground. Zofia uses true runic power for the first time—body and power begin to work together, and the shadow reacts by retreating.

"He" issues an ultimatum—either he regains power or destroys the city along with it. Zofia refuses and declares that she will not surrender Skalin. At this moment, complete darkness descends.

Part V ends with a dramatic cliffhanger and a foreshadowing of an even greater conflict – the runes, the dungeons, the Circle, and the return of an ancient being begin to merge into one grand tale. ---
