## **Chapter 2: The Labyrinth of Dreams – A New Level**

Night fell earlier than usual in Skalin. Fog enveloped the city in a thick, almost physical cocoon. Lena Sobczak returned to her apartment after a dangerous journey underground. Her heart was still beating fast, and images of the amber vial and the hooded shadow filled her mind.

When she finally fell asleep, she found no peace. Her dreams were strange, pulsing like life. She was in a labyrinth – not in the physical city, but in its reflection in her dreams. The corridors twisted endlessly, the walls pulsating with runes that changed shape and color with the rhythm of her breathing.

“This isn’t just a dream,” Lena thought, trying to maintain her balance in the spinning world. “It’s a trap or a clue… or both.”

The figures of young people she recognized from previous rituals appeared in the maze. Their eyes were wide, their faces filled with terror. They couldn’t speak, and their every movement seemed synchronized with the pulse of the dream.

A hooded figure emerged from the corridors—a Shadow from the Past. His eyes glowed with an icy light, and his voice echoed throughout the maze:

“Hello, Lena. I’m glad you’ve arrived. In this world, your decisions hold meanings you don’t yet understand.”

The corridors shifted with her thoughts. Every move was a test—every choice led to new puzzles. The runes pulsed, transforming into images of events from the city’s past, ritual victims, and places Lena knew only from archives.

“If I want to save them all, I have to think like them…” Lena whispered, spotting more clues in one of the mirrors.

At that moment, the labyrinth began to respond to her emotions. Fear caused corridors to shorten, disorientation, and illusory traps to appear. Lena realized that the antagonist—or antagonists—was using dreams to control the minds of their victims and test her abilities.

In one of the alleys, she spotted a runic symbol that wasn’t part of the old rituals—new, fresh, and pulsing with red light. Lena felt that discovering its meaning might be the key to stopping the antagonists.

“This is only the beginning…” Lena murmured, knowing that the labyrinth of dreams was only a prelude to a game that permeated reality. “I must learn to navigate this world if I want to save the city and everyone I love.”

The outer fog now seemed part of her dream, as if the boundary between dream and reality were beginning to dissolve. Lena knew one thing: **If she didn't master the Dream Labyrinth, the shadows of Skalin would triumph and the victims would be lost forever.**

I can now immediately prepare **Chapter 3 – "Survivors of the Past"**, introducing the development of the survivors from Part 2 and their new abilities, which will become crucial in the events that follow.
