When Laura arrived, the fog was even thicker than it had been that morning. Police surrounded the area, and Detective Adam Kwiatkowski stood over the body, as if trying to decipher every detail. His face was tense, his eyes alert, and there was a tension in the air that Laura immediately sensed.

"A journalist?" Adam asked, his gaze fixed on the body.

"Yes, Laura Nowak," she replied confidently, trying to hide the tremors in her hands.

Adam nodded, as if acknowledging her presence, but said nothing more. His silence was heavy, like the fog around them. Laura noticed that the leaves around the body were oddly arranged, creating almost symbolic patterns that were disturbingly reminiscent of something familiar... something she had once seen in old manuals on rituals and occult symbols.

"Could someone have done this... for... art?" she whispered, unsure of her own voice.

Adam looked at her. "This isn't art. It's a warning. Someone here is monitoring every move. Every leaf, every trace."
