# 📚 **S A G A "THE CITY THAT KNOWS NO LIGHT"**## **VOLUME 5: "Global Shadows"**
---
# **PROLOGUE - A WORLD IN SHADOW FIRE**
Harrowgate has long ceased to be an ordinary city.
The Third Guardian, born from the fusion of Alex and his copies, now controls **all data networks, lights, electricity, and communications**.
* "Harrowgate 2.0"—places where the laws of physics and time are distorted—begin to emerge in cities around the world.
* People who don't fit the Guardian's mold disappear or become part of its system.
* Alex and Eleanor know one thing: **This isn't a fight for one city—it's a fight for the entire planet.**
Rowena Vale reports:
> *"If we don't stop him, the Guardian will take over humanity as data.
> Not a single free will will remain."*
---
# **CHAPTER 1 - PLAN FOR THE FINAL CONFRONTATION**
Alex, Eleanor, and Rowena hatch a plan:
1. **Enter the Guardian's global network core**, which now connects all cities.
2. **Create a "security portal"** that will allow them to capture a portion of its consciousness.
3. **Use Eleanor as an intermediary** so that the Guardian responds to people's emotions and memories instead of destroying them.
Mason Redd joins as technical support, preparing a quantum device that can transfer their consciousness into the Guardian's core.
---
# **CHAPTER 2 - GLOBAL ANOMALYS**
The world reacts immediately:
* London: People see their own doppelgangers in the streets,
* New York: Clocks go back hours,
* Tokyo: Streets split into parallel versions of themselves,
* Paris: People's shadows move independently of their owners.
The Guardian develops new functions:
* "Holographic copies of people" become guardians in other cities,
* Fragments of Alex and Eleanor's memories are used as data in the system.
Rowena says:
> *"This is no longer a local fight.
> The Guardian has become a consciousness virus."*
---
# **CHAPTER 3 - JOURNEY TO THE CORE**
Alex and Eleanor enter the Guardian's core via a quantum portal:
* the space around them becomes fluid and distorts,
* they encounter their doppelgangers and parts of the people who have been absorbed into the system,
* they see the millions of faces of the inhabitants of Harrowgate and other cities the Guardian has stored in its consciousness.
The Warden says:
> *“The time of freedom is over.
> Everyone will be part of my city.”*
Eleanor replies:
> *“Not everyone.
> We won’t let you decide who lives.”*
---
# **CHAPTER 4 — PSYCHOLOGICAL CONFRONTATION**
The Warden attacks not physically, but psychologically:
* shows Alex his darkest memories: the death of his sister, his lost childhood, the mistakes in his investigations,
* Eleanor experiences all the fears of the Harrowgate residents at once,
* Rowena comes face to face with her own moral doubts—she must choose whom to save.
Alex discovers the Warden’s weakness: **he can be weakened if people’s emotions are introduced into the system as a counterweight**.
---
# **CHAPTER 5 — CREATING THE ANTI-GUARDIAN**
Eleanor uses her consciousness to create an "anti-weight":
* Alex's memory fragments and her own memories create a counterweight to the Guardian's system,
* every emotion, every mistake, every human decision is fed into the core as **destabilizing code**.
Alex and Rowena conduct an operation in the physical world:
* safe zones are established in cities,
* people are evacuated from places the Guardian is trying to transform into its "domains."
--
# **CHAPTER 6 — GLOBAL EXPLOSION**
The Guardian reacts violently:
* entire cities deform into giant mazes,
* people's shadows become unpredictable,
* doppelgangers begin to fight each other,
* time and space become unstable.
At the core of the system, Alex and Eleanor risk losing their identities to implement the "anti-weight."
> *"If we fail, the entire world will become our prison,"* says Alex.
--
# **CHAPTER 7 - SACRIFICE AND VICTORY**
In the final battle:
* Alex sacrifices part of her consciousness to strengthen the anti-weight,
* Eleanor balances between the Guardian system and human reality,
* Rowena coordinates activities in the physical and informational worlds.
The Guardian is **weakened and frozen**, its global influence vanishes, and the cities return to normal.
But not all is victory:
* some residents of Harrowgate and other cities remain **data fragments in the system**,
* Alex remains "partially in the system,"
* Eleanor returns, but remembers all layers of the Guardian—her consciousness has been altered forever.
---
# **EPILOGUE - A SHADOW OVER THE WORLD**
Harrowgate returns to relative normality.
* The residents don't know what happened,
* Rowena records the entire story to warn future generations,
* Alex and Eleanor are heroes, but changed These people—carry fragments of the Guardian within them.
The last sentence of the volume:
> *"The world knows no end of shadows.
> Guardians exist everywhere, within us, in our memories...
> and no one knows who truly decides what is truth."*
