---# **Story 3: “The Labyrinth of Forgotten Worlds”**---

## **Chapter 1: The Vanishing Town**

Jacob and Argo were traveling along an old, forgotten road when they came upon a town that didn't appear on any map or guidebook. The stone streets were empty, and the air was thick with silence.

“This place looks as if time has stood still,” Jacob muttered.

Argo barked nervously, sensing something hidden in the shadows of the buildings.

In the middle of the square, they spotted an old fountain with labyrinth symbols—similar to the ones they had seen earlier in the sarcophagus house.

“We can't ignore the signs,” Jacob said. “This must be a clue.”

At that moment, the town shuddered, and the streets began to shift like parts of a giant mechanism.

“It's… a living labyrinth,” Jacob whispered.

## **Chapter 2: Meeting the Guide**

The figure of an elderly man with a cane, his eyes gleaming with wisdom, appeared in the square.

"Welcome to the Labyrinth of Forgotten Worlds," he said. "Everyone who enters must face their own memories, dreams, and fears. The labyrinth knows no mercy."

Jakub felt a chill run through his spine.

"Can we leave if we get lost?"

"No," the man replied. "But if you find the truth about yourselves, you will emerge stronger."

Argo growled, and Jakub felt that this adventure would be more difficult than all the previous ones combined.

## **Chapter 3: The First Levels of the Labyrinth**

The labyrinth turned out to be multi-level. Each floor represented a different part of Jacob's life:

* **Childhood** – overcoming fears of rejection and loneliness.

* **Youth** – learning to be responsible for one's own decisions.
* **Presence** – a test of courage and trust in Argo.

On each floor, Jacob had to face illusions and puzzles, and Argo supported him with his intuition and extraordinary vigilance.

## **Chapter 4: Echoes of the Forgotten**

On the next level, they encountered figures of people who had once entered the labyrinth but never emerged. Their stories were filled with regret and fear.

"We must learn from them," Jacob said. "We cannot repeat their mistakes."

Each story was a lesson – of courage, friendship, and responsibility. Argo wagged his tail, encouraging Jacob to move on.

--

## **Chapter 5: The Mechanism of Time**

The labyrinth suddenly began to change. The walls shifted in time with the clocks, and Jacob and Argo were separated.

"Argo!" "Jacob called, but the dog was already in another corridor.

They had to solve puzzles related to time: changing the past in illusions and choosing the future to find their way back to each other.

"It's not about changing the past," Jacob said to himself. "It's about understanding it."

--

## **Chapter 6: The Inner Labyrinth**

After finding Argo, they reached a level where the labyrinth reflected their inner selves. Shadows of doubt, fear, and guilt came alive, trying to stop them.

"We must trust ourselves and each other," Jacob said.

Argo touched his hand with his paw, and together they walked through the illusions until the labyrinth opened to the next level.

--

## **Chapter 7: The Kingdom of Memory**

The next part of the labyrinth led to a vast hall filled with the memories of everyone who had ever entered. Images of the past mingled with visions of the future.

“This is the heart of the labyrinth,” said the older guide. “Here you learn that every choice matters.”

Jacob and Argo had to weave all the images into a coherent story to progress.

--

## **Chapter 8: Confronting the Keeper of the Labyrinth**

At the end of the labyrinth waited the guardian—a being made of time itself and memories.

“Now you must demonstrate what you have learned in each level,” he said.

Jacob combined courage, wisdom, and friendship with Argo, and the guardian shuddered in recognition of their willingness.

--

## **Chapter 9: The Secret of Forgotten Worlds**

The labyrinth crumbled, revealing a hidden tower in the center of town, containing the recorded stories of all the people who had ever been lost in time.

“Now you understand, Jacob,” said the guardian. “The power of the labyrinth lies not in traps, but in understanding yourself.”

---

## **Chapter 10: Back to Reality**

Jacob and Argo emerged from the town, which now vanished as if it had never existed.

"Every adventure teaches us something new," said Jacob. "And our lives are enriched by courage and friendship."

Argo barked happily, and Jacob continued on his way, knowing that the world was full of mysteries and secrets waiting to be discovered.
