* **Introduction of a Rival:** Aiden has known Kael for years and has his own agenda for the house and its power. His presence challenges Elara and Kael's relationship.
* **Emotional Manipulation:** Aiden suggests to Elara that Kael isn't telling her the whole truth or that his intentions towards her are selfish. This introduces doubt and emotional tension.
* **Trust Test:** Elara must decide who to trust – Kael, who has been her guide through the darkness of the house, or Aiden, who draws her into a new psychological game.

### Extended Scenes

1. **Meeting in the Garden:**
Elara meets Aiden at night in the garden. Initially, he is polite and caring, but his gaze betrays an ulterior motive. He begins to subtly suggest that Kael is hiding something important from her, awakening a sense of unease in Elara.
