Leminkainen - "The Lover." Ahti. He was one of the heroes, the hero of Finnish epics. As a child, his mother bathed him three times every summer night and once every autumn night, so that when he grew up, he would become a wise man gifted with a talent for singing. The carefree young man pursued women and accompanied Wainamoinen on expeditions to the land of Pohja to seek wives. Among the youth's most dangerous deeds was an attempt to kill the swan Tuoni, god of the dead. Unable to protect himself magically, he was torn to pieces by Tuoni's son, and his remains were thrown into the river. However, his mother, skilled in sorcery, put together the pieces of Leminkainen's body and brought him back to life. His wife was Kyllikki.

Louhi - The Witch of the North, enemy of the bard Wejnemejnen from the Finnish epic "Kalewala".

Nuggle – a saddled horse with its tail tucked between its legs, inhabiting islands off the Scandinavian Peninsula. It pulls anyone who rides it into the sea.

Para - a house spirit living in Finland, sometimes appearing in the form of a snake, frog, or cat. Pellerwojnen - a field dwarf.

The Sampo was the work of Ilmarinen, in Finnish mythology the Eternal Blacksmith who created the earth and sky at the beginning of time. The talisman was magically crafted over three days from a single lively feather, the milk of a fertile cow, a grain of barley, and the fleece of a summer lamb. Forged in the magical flames of a furnace, it consisted of a flour mill, a salt mill, and a money mill, and ensured lasting wealth and power.

Tiera - hero, friend of Ahti.

Tuonela – the underground kingdom of the dead ruled by Tuoni. From this land, only a few returned. One of the few brave souls who managed to escape Tuonela was Wainamoinen. After crossing the river that borders Tuonela, Tuonetar welcomed him and offered him beer. However, when the guest fell asleep, her son covered the river with a large iron net so that Wainamoinen could not return by the same route and would be forced to remain in Tuonela forever. However, when the hero awoke, he transformed into an otter and slipped through the meshes of the net.

Wainamoinen, Wejnemejnen, Wejno – the hero of the "Kalevala," a great prophet, sage, singer, and sorcerer. The main character of Finnish epics, son of the goddess Luonnotar. He was always depicted as a lively and sensitive old man, endowed with wisdom from birth, having spent at least 30 years in his mother's womb. This main character of Kalev ("Homeland of Heroes") possessed exceptional magical powers. Unfortunately, luck was not with him in love. When he sought a wife among the women of Pohja, he was promised one of Louhi's daughters if he would perform a magical talisman, Sampo. Wainamoinen entrusted this task to his companion Illmarinen, and Louhi's daughter became Illmarinen's wife. However, the bride was killed, and the talisman was stolen. Wainamoinen and Illmarinen, joined by Leminkainen, set out to find Sampo. After many adventures, they managed to retrieve it. However, Louhi stirred up a great storm, and in the form of a griffin, he sank their ship. Only Wainamoinen's quick reaction saved them all, but in the storm, the wind carried away the Sampo. When the storm subsided, Wainamoinen gathered all the scattered pieces and partially restored the talisman's former power. When his mission was complete, he built a ship and set out on an endless voyage.

Wipunen - a sea monster from the "Kalevala", a wizard, possessor of omniscience and magical spells.
