From Ombie Road

One of the most mysterious and chilling places in the United States is the so-called "Zombie Road," or "River of Death." In some parts of the world, Zombie Road is said to possess immense energy. During the day, a miniature tourist train circulates across a patch of land, invisible to the naked eye. No one who has witnessed it during the day could ever imagine that shortly after the sun sets, the place becomes more than just terrifying. Zombie Road can be considered one of the most terrifying places on earth. The events that unfold in Zombie Road seem like they're straight out of a Hollywood movie, with the difference that Zombie Road is not a movie; it's pure reality.

Thousands of eyewitnesses report the same paranormal occurrences. Deep within the human soul, a fear usually lurks, something that cannot be reached or seen, something that cannot be explained by science. Anyone who has experienced Zombie Road will be able to name this fear. Many legends have arisen about this place over the years, many of them fabricated, but there's a grain of truth in all of them.

One legend goes like this: In the late 19th century, the American military was building rails in this region. It's known that the American railways were built by foreigners, primarily Chinese. Under harsh conditions, workers had to earn their own bread. Approximately 250,000 workers died in accidents or simply from starvation. People tell stories in which deceased workers are said to be connected to this land, rising from their graves at night and wandering Zombie Road. Even today, Zombie Road residents say that death has no mercy in this place.

Frightening lights and human-shaped shadows can be seen at night. There are also rumors that melodies can sometimes be heard. In one instance, the group recorded what's known as "White Noise." Upon listening to the recording, it was noted that it contained very old music from years gone by. It was as if old jazz had come alive. The Paranormal Task Force and Missouri Paranormal Research groups investigated this phenomenon in 2005 and 2006. The resulting images appear to be unique and offer the public new and unknown possibilities in the world.

The second Zombie Road legend tells of an escaped patient who escaped from a nearby clinic, nicknamed "Zombie." One night, he fled toward the road and into the woods. The man was never found, and the next day, his bloody clothes were found lying on the road. The place was supposedly named after his nickname. Another legend says it got its name from the fact that young people traveled this road in the 1970s, a time of drugs and zombie movies.
