When the sun rose in the blue sky, everyone gathered for the journey. Those who were to fly to the land of the Frostoids said goodbye to the Gurders, who remained in their reclaimed lands, the Stags, who were returning to their homes even further south, as well as the White Dogs and the Forest Women. Bibi also said goodbye to his saviors, crying huge tears, which were astonishing considering such small eyes, which finally opened; he could finally see, with all four of them; he was growing up very quickly.
It was a long way to the cave, but with the Birds' help, they would make it much faster than if they had traveled on foot. They had resupplied with the permission of Goldcrest, who now owned the supplies hidden by the Lord.
They glided through the sky at incredible speeds, from early morning until sunset. When they landed in the evenings to rest, all those without wings were happy to feel solid ground beneath their feet, but Leaf, Rose, and Wind were ecstatic because they could finally run after a long day in unfamiliar conditions.
After a while, they saw from above a familiar grove composed mostly of strange trees.
"We'll be on the Earthling lands soon, hurray!" Ker shouted.
When they landed in the green forest, all the colorful birds, of which there were so many here, fell silent. It became very quiet.
"Captain, are you here?" They heard Ker's call in their heads.
"I'm here, I'm here. Is everything alright?" They heard in their heads, but saw no one, just like the first time. "
Yes, it's our friends, the one we were talking about is dead."
"Excellent, then, esteemed guests, allow me to lead you to Po. "
They set off along the same path as before, reaching a corridor lit with various stones.
"Welcome, welcome, I see there are more of you than started. Oh, and I see you've got your father back, wonderful, Ker, boy, go say hello to your mother, she's crying her eyes out for you, and return with your parents to the feast." Po greeted everyone, shaking their hands and inviting them to the great hall, the same one they'd eaten in before. "Welcome, birds, I see you're not as bad as we thought..."
"No, we're not, those were those cursed collars." Kukularz bowed his head to Po.
"I'm glad everything's alright now, but you're welcome, you're welcome."
- Unfortunately, we won't stay here long because we're in a hurry to get home... - Keraj said.
"I understand, I understand, but you will eat with us and rest, and tomorrow you can return home.
" "Sir, I would very much like to see how they live," Ker said, appearing with his mother at his side. "Please allow me to go with them.
" "You've only just returned and you want to travel further? You're a naughty young man.
" "Please.
" "If your mother agrees, then I agree, because as for your father, I suspect he would encourage you to make this journey.
" "What can I do, I agree."
The feast lasted a long time, the travelers talked about their adventures and journeys. This time the boys were careful what they drank so as not to miss out on the fun. In the morning, the whole group, including the Dogs, who, after all, belonged to the brothers and Ker's dog, flew on.
They passed Mount Gniado and felt the familiar cold. To avoid freezing, they took a short break to change. They also gave Ker and Ash furs, as they were unprepared for such weather, and also gave warm clothing to their father, who had been deprived of it during the kidnapping. They had nothing left to give the Stags, but they had thick fur that protected them not only from the sun but also from the frost.
Finally, after tiring days of flying, they reached the familiar mountain.
"We're landing here!" Dero shouted.
The entire clan ran out to greet them, but all stopped suddenly, except for one. A small boy ran, oblivious.
"Zion, Delo, Grandpa!" Rożek screamed at the top of his lungs, falling into the arms of the first one who stood in his way.
"You, little one, caused such a commotion?" Keraj smiled, hugging the boy.
"He really does look like us." The wizard approached the little boy.
"Husband, sons!" Senada forced her way through the crowd. "You've returned! Finally! And who are your friends?" she asked, looking at the rest of the travelers. "You, sir, look like my grandfather. Who are you?
" "Allow me to introduce you, wife. This is the Wizard, he's of the Stag race, as are his two tribemates who came with us. His name is Rommm, and these two are Dremmm and Wresss. This is the Forester, his name is Ash, he's also a magician. This is Ker, Ziemon, his tribe lives not far behind Mount Nest. And Gurdere, Kukularz, and his subjects, they helped us return, thanks to them we're back so quickly. And how could I have forgotten, these are the Dogs: Leaf, who belongs to Ker, Rose, and Wind, who are the Dogs of our sons, but that's a long story.
" "Excellent, then you can tell us everything over the feast. I invite you to the cave."
They entered. It was much warmer inside than outside. All the Frostoids watched them with concern, but also curiosity. Senada invited the entire cave to the enormous bonfire where feasts and debates were always held.
The feast lasted until morning, with everyone sharing their adventures one by one. Then the Wizard spoke of his tribe and their love of wandering. All the foreigners shared their stories, except, of course, the dogs, who, after the Frozoids had become accustomed to them, played with the children. Then, when the children went to bed, they lay there and ate what the adults gave them.
Everyone ate and had fun, playing various instruments made from animal bones and skins, and dancing, jumping to the rhythm of the music.
The guests stayed with the Frozoids for a few days and then went to their own tribes. Only Rose and Leaf remained. Everyone said long goodbyes and promised to visit each other.
Life in the Frozoids' cave returned to normal, with the only difference being that they were no longer so isolated within their tribes; they finally knew a bit of the world.
