A continuation of the story entitled "Unfortunate Acquaintance"
You know how the first part of this story ended; if you don't know, read it.
A few days have passed since I went to a disco with my friends. It's summer vacation, so I have plenty of time. Of course, boredom sets in again. I go to see my dear friend Karolina, who lives downstairs. Of course, she wasn't doing anything interesting either, so we decide to go outside for some fresh air. We head towards the park, because that's where we liked to walk the most—it was our path. We spent so much time there chatting with girls, and we often dreamed of prince charmings together.
We're almost to the park, and suddenly someone says hello behind us! We turn our heads, and it's Krzysiek, the guy from the disco. He starts talking to us. Of course, we're angry, especially me, because our girly gossip failed – some male intruder has ruined our plans. I don't know why, but Krzysiek annoyed me. He was wearing a checked shirt, which I really didn't like, and I didn't like him at all. I even came up with the nickname "Burak" for him. In short, this guy irritated me. I was often downright rude to him. My friend, on the other hand, was, you could say, polite and quite nice to him; they even got along quite well, or so I thought – that was my perspective, although I was almost certain he liked me and that he was "craving" me, and that annoyed me. Days passed, and Karolina and I, as usual, often went for walks, and of course, we often ran into Krzysiek. We've known each other for quite a while, but it's always just me, Karolina, and Krzysiek, the three of us. I know he really likes me, but he seems to sense my dislike for him. We often run around the park together, Krzysiek holds our hand, we fool around, but I just treat it as fun. My friend probably liked it more; that's how I felt. Although Karolina claimed she didn't like Krzysiek. One evening, we were all sitting together on a bench, and Krzysiek said he wanted to talk to Karolina alone, so I stepped aside. They talked for quite a while until I finally got bored of standing alone and went over to them. We sat together for a while and decided to go home. Krzysiek walked us home and left. Of course, I was very curious, so I asked Karolina what they were talking about for so long, and she started telling me. She says they were talking about me. Krzysiek told her he really liked me and wanted me to be his girlfriend, but he didn't know if I'd say yes; he was a bit hesitant. Karolina advised him to ask me outright, but he was a bit embarrassed. Day after day passed, and the three of us continued seeing each other. I finally started to like him a little. I don't know if I'd gotten used to him, or if I'm just the type of person I am and need to get to know someone better. I slowly began to notice his good qualities, even noticing that he has very pretty blue eyes. After a very long time, we started seeing just the two of us...
But that's not the end of this story; it goes on for a very long time, and don't think it was easy for him with me. There will be more to come. Don't worry, and please stick with it until the end.
