New-unhappy? Part 17

Around 10 o'clock, Gracja woke up. Daniel was still asleep. She looked at him and kissed his forehead. She got up quietly, but Daniel woke up anyway.
"Hi," he said sleepily. Gracja smiled.
"Lie down if you want. Do you like toast?" she asked.
"Aha," he replied sleepily.
Gracja went to the kitchen and quickly made some toast with cheese. The kitchen smelled wonderful. Daniel must have smelled it in the room because he came to Gracja.
"Mmm, it looks great," he said. "
Just regular toast. Nothing special," Gracja said. She grabbed one of the plates and headed for the dining room. Daniel did the same. They were now sitting in the dining room, talking.
"Nice haircut," Gracja said, ruffling Daniel's hair. He smiled and tucked into another piece of toast. After a delicious breakfast, Gracja went to the bathroom. When it was already 11 o'clock, Daniel said,
"I have to go." My parents will be back soon, and I was supposed to clean the house.
"Oh, that's a shame. It's nice of you to come," said Gracja. Daniel quickly put on his shoes and jacket. He gave Gracja a kiss goodbye.
"See you Monday!" Gracja shouted as she left. She closed the door and ran to the phone. She called Marlena.
"I'm listening," Marlena said sleepily. "
Hi! We need to talk!" Gracja said cheerfully. She told the whole story of last night. Marlena immediately woke up. When Gracja finished, Marlena said that Darek had already been released from the hospital and was planning to visit Gracja next weekend.
"Really?! Are you coming too?" Gracja asked happily.
"I hope so, but I'm afraid there might be another hearing."
The girls talked for a while. Then Gracja got ready and decided to go to the store. She left the house, closing the door behind her. She slowly went downstairs. She left the cage.
"So where now?" she asked herself. She remembered that back in the summer, she'd been to a rather large self-service store. She also remembered that it wasn't far. On the way, she checked to make sure she was going the right way, and a woman approached. She told her the store was just around the corner. Grace turned a corner and saw a rather large one. She went inside and was a little worried to see Squirrel's friends. However, Squirrel herself was nowhere to be seen. She walked confidently into the store. She walked between the shelves. While standing at one, she heard someone standing behind her. She turned and received a hard blow to the face. She immediately fell to the ground.
While lying on the ground, she received a good kick in the side. This, however, "woke" her up. She quickly stood up. She looked Squirrel straight in the eye and lunged at her with her claws. The girls were thrashing around. Suddenly, they hit a shelf hard, and several items fell onto them.
"You'll see, bitch! Now you'll regret it!" Squirrel shouted and slapped Gracja across the face with all her might. However, she didn't retaliate. She hit her back with double force.
"What's going on here!?" a woman yelled. "What are you brats doing!"
The woman screamed so loudly that both girls immediately got to their feet. "You'll see! I'll call the police!"
The girls continued struggling, ignoring the woman. She walked away, but a moment later, the police arrived with her.
"Let's go!" one shouted and ripped Squirrel from Gracja's grasp. The girls were disheveled and covered in bruises. The police put them in the car. When Gracja got in, Squirrel tried to hit her again.
"Calm down!" the second officer shouted. Squirrel ignored him. The officer took out handcuffs and put them on the girl. The second officer did the same to Gracja. The girls, completely out of breath, were now driving to the police station. Of course, there was no shortage of insults and insults along the way.
The police officers ushered the girls inside and a conversation began. Both defended themselves. Gracja told everything as it was, while Wiewiórka... was lying.
The officers couldn't figure out who was telling the truth and couldn't calm them down at all.
"Name and surname!" the officer said, turning to Wiewióra.
"Lidia Natawska," said Wiewióra. Gracja didn't even know the girl's name. The officers typed something into the computer.
"And what's your name?" he turned to Gracja.
"Gracja Sarkwińska," said the girl. One of the officers left and returned a few minutes later.
"One of my parents will be here soon, but there's no one at the other house," he said. "Which one is Gracja?" he asked.
"Me," said Gracja.
"Give me your father's or mother's cell phone number." "
I don't live with my father, and my mother is on a business trip," Gracja stated. "
And where is she on a business trip?" the officer asked. Gracja looked at him.
"I don't know," she said after a moment.
"Don't call! Give me the number!" the policeman shouted
. "I'm not calling! Mom didn't tell me where she was going! She's an adult, after all, right?!" Gracja shouted. The policeman sighed.
"Then you'll just sit here until your mom gets back," he said.
"No!" Gracja shouted. What was she supposed to do? She wouldn't call her father, and her mother wouldn't be able to escape. Gracja was truly terrified. She was facing a weekend at the police station...
