This place will never be the same... If we try... Red Black - the occupier's lie - we sail through the Babylon of fear. She's leaving! We want her! Red Black! This place will never be the same...
Across a small hill surrounded by water on both sides, a track ran, disappearing only beyond the horizon, giving the impression of infinity. This entire small hill was made of sand and small stones, so a stroll through these areas usually ended in the water. Somewhere in the distance, you could see the tops of coniferous trees, creating a beautiful panorama, especially now, as the setting sun reflected its palette of shades of red on the blue water, whose stillness was constantly disturbed by a school of fish touching the surface of the reservoir. In such a picturesque landscape, with so much space, there were only two people... They were resting on the abandoned tracks, where no vehicle had passed for a dozen years. She's a short girl with beautiful, unusually long hair, slightly fair and curly at the ends, and an ordinary boy, indistinguishable from the everyday world.
"Tell me," the girl began laboriously and bitterly, "why will this damn day end and tomorrow be just another one, worthless, just as messed up?" "
We've only known each other for a few minutes... It's funny... We have stupid problems, and the world doesn't even try to help us. People push us away, and we're left to our own devices... It's stupid," the boy began, grimacing and scratching his head repeatedly. "Sometimes the days actually just get worse... Listen..." he took a last sip from the now slightly dented Pepsi can. "There's no chance of things getting any better... I'm standing on the very edge... I had big plans, and right now I'm stuck, and it doesn't look like much will happen. We just have to keep going," he finished, smiling slightly, then tossed the can towards the water.
"I don't know anymore... I don't know anything anymore," the girl whispered, burying her head between her knees and squeezing her eyes shut. "I have no intention of being here..." she added. Her companion raised his hand and placed it on her shoulder. He approached her and almost hugged her. "
Yesterday I was talking to my best friend about how much we don't believe in love... How damn alternative and unusual we are... I don't believe in love," she said... "And today, I love her too," the boy said in a sad voice. He wasn't devastated, but rather a bit shocked that in such an empty and useless area he had met such an extraordinary person as the girl resting right next to him..."
"I've already burned out... I'm useless to this world... I'll leave..." the girl began, shedding her first tears... "Leave... Please... Leave... Thank you for this moment," she added, then fell completely silent, shivering in the cold brought by the gentle breeze that had just reached the loners. The boy stood up... He put his hands in his pockets, then looked at the setting sun, which was slowly leaving behind only remnants of red in the cloud-drenched sky. He bowed his head to the ground. His black-and-white checked shirt, tucked out of his short black trousers, waved in the wind. He glanced once more at the distraught girl, then turned his gaze to the housing estate visible in the distance and headed in that direction. Slowly, step by step, he traversed the rusty tracks, so rarely used by people that almost all the metal screws that connected them had been stolen. Indeed, a few such screws could fetch a fortune in scrap, so in such a poor town, one didn't have to wait long for a willing buyer.

A loner in a small room... What's he doing? Talking to himself... Or maybe he's writing something? It's hard to see clearly in this darkness, though he sits at his desk, trembling all over... All sounds are drowned out by the music, and he's trembling...
I won't shed another tear... Not a single bad word... The end of life... I don't need anything more. When the sun warms my body, I feel a cold that envelops every corner of my heart. It spreads an aura of sadness around me that has never been so great before... Do you see me, God? Does what I'm doing make sense? I don't want to cry or sin anymore... I don't have to live here... I don't want to go any further in the labyrinth of life you've created... Too much sadness and despair... You're the only one who remembers me as a little child... You're the only one who watched me closely with your little eyes, though you never tucked me in to sleep... Father, creator... I don't want to live like this... With or without you, I no longer feel like fixing my life. Everything has fallen apart and lost its meaning. Me alone? It's simply impossible... I beg you! I don't want to cry! Tears form on their own... I'm lonely again... Between you and human hatred... I want to offer you, God, one last prayer, because even though you hated me, I loved you deeply... For all the pain you caused me... For the pain that never left me and for the hope you took away from me every time it appeared within me, even for a moment. Here I stand and shed my next tears, even though I didn't want to... I stand before your temple... You and I... Now we are alone... I can tell you what you didn't know about me... You didn't know that deep in my heart I love you and wouldn't let anything happen to you... We are so close... With my thoughts I touch your hands... I stand between you and the earth!!! Here you are! I found you! Get up! Show me your face! Touch my hand and don't let me cry! Try to feel someone's warmth, just once! I don't want to cry and I don't want to beg for your mercy! I don't want to be here anymore, but you forced me! Listen! It's me!!!

"You want to kill yourself, you idiot?" Adam shouted, throwing the knife into the trash. "You're seriously messed up in the head!" "
Fuck off, man! What am I supposed to do?" Radek blurted out, confused, then quickly sat down on the couch and began rubbing his eyes with his right sleeve.
"Don't worry, idiot. You could have just stuck a knife in your ribs! You idiot, be happy," Adam added irritably, standing over his friend. They were in a small room. The walls were painted white, and on one of them, right above the computer, hung a black-and-white flag depicting Bob Marley. "Madman!" the boy added, his brow furrowing. He leaned over his friend and placed his right hand on his shoulder. The first tear appeared in his eyes.
"I have no other choice! Can't you see that? I have nothing! I've lost everything!" - Radek tried to choke out in tears, still wiping his tearful face.
"But don't do this!" his friend shouted through his tears, then sat down beside him and wrapped his arms around him. They sat there wordlessly. Tears streamed down their cheeks, and slow, incredibly powerful music played from the computer speakers, piercing the hearts of the listeners. It was noon, but in the room, where the blinds were still drawn, there was a darkness that built despair.
"It's our song!" Adam began, raising his head. He looked his friend in the eye. "It's our song! It hasn't fallen yet! You'll see! We'll achieve our goals yet!"
"I never..." Radek said shyly. "I never thought... I never thought a friend could be so important... So wonderful... Thank you... I feel better now... I'm sorry... But leave me alone... Please..." "
Of course... You would do the same in my place," Adam smiled slightly, then left his friend's apartment.

A small room... Plaster was crumbling from the walls, painted perhaps twenty years ago, and the broken doors of the now abandoned rooms created a profound sense of dread and a hint of hesitation. A step further? Ruined rooms... Shattered furniture and completely plastered walls. This was the corridor of a well-closed building, in the center of which lay a single, tightly closed room where good friends tried to squeeze out every ounce of their talent. They were inside now... Only a strong metal door separated them from the gray reality, and the weaker wooden one from their own room. What were they doing? Probably everything they could... They must have played, and played until they were out of breath, for several hours a day. Fatigue... Sweat... What was it all for? For their ambition, for their hope... They had often met friends there and listened to music. Such a place of constant work and relaxation, because after all, this tiring work was pure pleasure for them. The first song they had composed... Such a great memory... A song about love? A sound strong and full of hope... To change this reality! This sick city saturated with thugs and cheap alcohol... They knew what they wanted and fought for it... They endured much pain...
"That's enough for today... Huh!" Paweł blurted, exhausted. "Yes... Daniel, Adam, Radek, and Paweł..." The first two played guitar, the third drums, and the last lent his voice to the music. Their room was upholstered in egg cartons, and their band's name was emblazoned on one wall. The entire room was hued in black and red, so the guys played perfectly there. On the wall furthest from their equipment stood wardrobes filled with various binders left over from the now-vanished office, or all sorts of equipment useful for rehearsals. There were a few armchairs and a mock table made of several egg cartons, tightly pressed together to form a stand, and a wooden door from one of the wardrobes served as a tabletop. On it sat glasses filled with tea, jars of sugar, and a box of tea bags. Everyone drank the contents of their glasses and then began packing. Everyone was busy with different things, so Adam was hiding various things in the closet, Radek was packing the drum cymbals, and the rest were gathering the instruments.
"Rehearsal was a success! We have the material, it's summer break, let's go to the studio!" Adam shouted with a smile.
"Yes! The money will be in the office in a few days, so let's go!" Paweł said, putting on his jacket. Radek, already standing next to him, laughed and sat down in a chair. "
I still have to go to my girlfriend," Adam changed the subject. "And you, Daniel, aren't you tearing anything up?" he added, then put his guitar back in its case.
"Shut up!" Radek said in disgust. "Can't you see a man in pain?
" "Oh, damn it... You're screwed... But whatever! Being a dad at eighteen isn't so bad! Dude!" Paweł said, then made a goofy face.
"Fuck, you always piss me off," the now-exasperated drummer replied.
"Okay, aunts! Get out, Uncle Ciastek is locking the door," Adam reassured with his killer sense of humor, and everyone left the ruined room.
"See you tomorrow, guys! I'm off to my lady!" Adam said with a smile, then headed in the opposite direction from the rest... They were friends... They didn't take everything entirely seriously. Each had their own style and way of thinking, and together they created a wonderful group full of extraordinary ideas for life.

There came a time when each of us
... Can beg for something we can't get.
We can complain about people as much as we want.
But that only gets us a few court cases.
We can pretend we're human.
We can ask, but no one will answer.
We can describe ourselves, but no one will help us...
I am! A substitute for a human!
I want a lot! I won't give anyone anything!
I desire! But others don't count!
We are! And we die early!
And we die early!

He and she were together... Surrounded by only the sounds of music and burning candles, and the red curtains, behind which the night burned, reflected the flames of light and created a red-and-black atmosphere in the room, draped in passion and bliss. They were enjoying each other... They were enjoying their time in their own little world. "
You did it," the girl said, overcome with joy, interrupting such a delightful moment. "
Sometimes I think this world has some meaning... We recorded a CD, which is now being played by that damn drive. I recorded it to all my friends and sent it everywhere... What's next? It doesn't matter... The only thing that matters now is you," the happy boy commented, then hugged his partner as tightly as he could.
Who were they? Anyone could find themselves in this place... Two close people who put their love above the world. They love! They dream! They dream... Don't interrupt their sleep with a single word... Too much can happen... They've already survived a lot together, and nothing will interrupt their shared joy. Stop me... You are the greatest gift God has given me... I don't look down because it ends in misery. I prefer not to climb to the heights so I don't fall. I only want to stay here with you! And no one will disturb my dream... This dream! Stop me! I beg for your soul! Our thoughts... I'm falling to the bottom... The great ocean! And in it, our thoughts are woven! Our truth! It's me and you... A gust of wind stopped me... I'm back on earth, alive again... It's us! It's our sweet dreams! They woke up in each other's arms and... And they wanted to stay that way forever...
"Perhaps... Someday... In the distant future," the boy began timidly. "
You'll achieve success and be famous," the girl interrupted, "and that will definitely happen!"
"Hehe... I think so," the young man added, flashing a huge smile at his partner.
When I don't see you, I look at your pictures,
So wonderfully beautiful like snowflakes,
When the winds blow, sadness paints my heart,
One simple look in any scenery,
When a tired bus wallows in the mud,
When human thoughts get lost in the blizzard
, When I, half-conscious, die,
When your hands wander over my sheets,
Sad words built from Monday to Sunday,
A few simple sentences mutilated by the infidels,
And this human world that kills itself, And at its end ,
a group of people without hope!
Have you seen a few friends who used to roam this area? They're a group of young guys who decided to form a band and achieve fame with it... Day by day, their dreams grew, and they didn't give up, even though life kicked them in the ass more than once. They fought for their dreams and never wavered in their work. They, once ordinary boys from this town, now sit among the stars, even though they still say they're not stars. They give what they've earned to those in need and distribute their music practically for free, allowing it to reach every corner of the globe. These are the people the world knows! Motivation, a whole lot of normalcy! They found themselves in a situation they only dreamed of, and now they can proudly say they've achieved what was once impossible. From a small backyard band, they've become a mature and successful musical entity. Or maybe not everything should be perfect... A miracle has happened....

-Idiot! You complete idiot! I won't turn into a marketing whore!
-We're going to the USA!
-Never! Am I a Muniek?
-I don't care who you are! Let's go!
-Hey man! What are you talking about?! Let
's go! -I'm not going! I have everything here! I prefer this country to this fucking statue of awesomeness!
-Idiot! You're making a fool of yourself
! -You're a jerk, you crooked idiot! Nobody's going to force me to leave! I know what I want
! -So you're out!
-You're kicking me out, you idiot?!
-Yes! Me! Is there a problem?
-Fuck you! - he added, then grabbed his instrument and ran out of the room. He didn't look at what was behind him or what awaited him on the road. He ran through familiar territory and didn't particularly care what awaited him. Was he thinking? Not really... Why should he think? He knew there was nothing left to be happy about...A funny moment. The phone rang.
-Yes? "
Come back! Come on! Come on! We'll work something out," a voice could be heard in the receiver. The boy stopped. He stood motionless and kept looking at a certain girl on the road. She wasn't alone. Yes... This is his love... His only chosen one...
A television studio... An interview? Adam and a journalist... An interview with the most famous band... A smile.
"And you, dear Adam, are you with someone? Look, the whole world is watching and waiting!" the reporter snapped. "
I have one person I trust completely. I loved her before I achieved anything, and I can trust her the most," the young man replied.
The cameras were going out...
"But... But..." the boy tried to say something. The girl immediately turned around. She freed herself from the boy hugging her and stood still.
"Hey! Are you coming?" a voice came from the receiver...
* * *
"Monika... I have to leave this place... It's good that you're still listening to me..." the distraught boy said, hugging the saddened blonde tightly.
"Where will you go? You've built your life here... Oh my... I'm sorry... Indeed," the girl tried to say.
"There's no point in me here. Me? I'm going back to my real home... This home is called my first city... I'll live there because it was there that I once had dreams and believed in what I was doing. Here, everything has vanished... Thank you, best friend, for always helping me... You remembered me..." Adam explained, utterly devastated.
"That's what friends are for," the girl said. "You would have done the same," she added, hugging the boy tighter.
"Who walked you to your departure point? Who said the last words? Who said that this world would be worse without you... Who came to say goodbye to their friend? Who said something nice before parting with the former celebrity and current scumbag with a handful of money. They left him alone!" He no longer has any meaning in life, and I'm returning to where his truth was once born. Should he dream of a better day or give up on this world? Judge for yourself...
"So we'll never meet again," said the leather-jacketed blond, offering his hand to Adam.
"Sigh... Dear friend... Dear Monika... Konrad... I had thousands of friends, and I only have three of you left... And the strangest thing is that I met you all thanks to the fucking internet. Am I right? I'm alive? Haha! You're loved," the boy said, and then ran toward the bus. He ran fast, but his speed didn't stop the tears from falling from his face... They grew stronger and stronger, until they caused the boy to cry like a child. The three friends looked alike.
"Crying... And I thought it was one of those things that didn't happen to me," said the blond, and then walked away without another word.
"This is indeed a strange ending..." said Monika.
"Hmm... But you should see how important..." Konrad added...
Oh, the irony! What have you done to the meaning of this creation! A story about life? A story about hopes and dreams? About ambition? I love every abnormality! Oh, ambition! How cruel you are when you're gone! What do we see on the horizon? Waves? Land? Sea? Mountains? A ship? A submarine!
* * * "
A vast expanse. The tracks once stood on a steep hill, so narrow that only they could fit, and now... Instead of the water that surrounded it, there's still gravel... There are no trees anymore—most of them have been removed... In the distance, you can still see the forest, and there seem to be fewer houses... People no longer stroll here, and no one fishes in the polluted reservoir. This place has changed. Even the scaffolding by the bridge has been removed, and yet it was on them that we spent so much time... What a place..." the boy began.
"Yes... Indeed," the girl replied, as if she had just woken up.
"You've been here for so long? Still? It's been ten years!" the young man said in disbelief.
"You see... I spend several hours here every day... I see the local plots of land that were later flooded... I see the vast forest that people destroyed... I see the mine shaft, which left only a several-kilometer-deep abyss, accessible to everyone... I always see that vehicle that comes here every day and delivers some strange package to another vehicle... It seems to me... This place... God has forgotten it... Just like me..." the girl said, as before, filled with sadness, looking at the surroundings.
"Maybe he forgot about me too... And I was deluding myself that he remembered me... Maybe this is a place for desperate people like us?" the boy added. "
I saw you... I remembered... You became someone... And now you're nothing again... Just like me," the girl said, full of irony.
"But something's making this cool breeze bring me here. Do you know that deep down I dreamed of meeting you here? And look, what a dream come true... Damn! What dreams! I'm tired of my dreams!" the boy began, then fell to his knees, clutching his head in his hands. At that moment, the girl stood up. She walked up to him and hugged him with all her might.
"Irony? The passage of time... Us... A wave of the sea, and a small river that was once a great lake... Comedy... Us? Let's go together to another place... Since God has forgotten it, we should escape it... That's for the best..." she said, helping the boy to his feet. He didn't hesitate and, holding her hand, followed her toward the city.
"Because this place will never be the same again... If we try, it will be better... The Red Communists built, and the black stench of the right wing has finished us off. Now we have a great Babylon where we live in fear!" In the social democratic shit that excludes itself... And the sun was setting below the horizon, as the towering buildings loomed ever more clearly in the distance. A huge city built right next to such a vast wilderness. No one cared about what was happening there. Death, rape, suffering? This is the everyday reality of big cities... The most populated neighborhood in the city, yet one of the smallest in size. That's us! We'll stand even further apart and smile from each other. A small child cries when a toy is taken away. A big city cries when no one kills each other anymore... Down to the bottom... Down to the bottom...
/03-Bywaj/
And I am like a bird on fire. It instills in all people a fondness for freedom. We can still be free! The clouds have passed over them and repaired what people tried to do. In the abandoned and ruined plots, a new guest has arrived... Water... Water, tearing apart all the walls... A great and immortal element... Water... And I float over the great land they once called Earth. And the people who lived here were supposedly human! They were supposed to have feelings and help each other! What a wretch! They tricked me! We stand... We look at the entire area that our parents painstakingly built. We have enemies and friends here. Everyone has a place in our minds, if not in our hearts. We fight, help, and live. What purpose does all this serve? Why are we here? That woman, who looked at me, spoke of love. She was so far away... I was coming home from school. Classes ended early, barely noon, so I had the opportunity to see the cityscape while I sat chained to my desk. Who did I see? Someone emerged from behind a container. A scratched sign and a few smashed cans, and now him. In such a low, almost sub-zero temperature, he stood in a woolen hat, an old, tattered sweatshirt with green and brown stripes, and brown trousers. Shoes? They were practically pieces of fabric tied together... Maybe they kept his feet a little warm... No... I doubt it... I don't want to go home at this hour because I see too much misery. Sadness? Maybe... Should we help others? Should we be kind when others kill us? I hope no one forces me to answer this question. So much philosophy... Does anyone need it? Isn't it true that philosophy only takes up the time we should devote to our loved ones? And do they devote time to us?! Where are we? I'm standing in a large clearing and I don't want to leave it.
They roam vast fields... Vast lands full of danger. A group of travelers. Yes! I see! I recognize a warrior and a mage there... Two great adventurers. They
always wanted to be great
, great...
They could have given up, but
they won...
Everyone can dream, many give up at the beginning of a fight. But they are together, always like brother for brother, one for the other. They never gave up and often emerged from great difficulties.
You can strike them down. Strike them
down...
You can kill them
. Kill them...
She fell in love with a warrior... She fell in love... You'll read the epilogue and get lost in your own life. What is the light at the end of the tunnel? Hope? It shows us the way out of the labyrinth of life! No! It's a Trap! At the end stands a murderer, waiting only for you... They keep dreaming... Dreaming... They want to live... Always with each other... A pair of lovers... A dream... Us! A light full of danger... They wake up. He touches the sky and asks it to lighten up. He won't wake up tomorrow. Tomorrow she will murder him! She will rip his heart out in the night and throw him over the edge into the endless waters... Us...
And what are dreams? A group of friends who want to achieve something are driven by ambition and excitement. They understand each other as children, but not as adults. They are still too young for that. They grow up together and cherish each other's company. They stand here, waiting for a sign from God—a chance for themselves... Shouts and insults on their lips... Pleadings for something better than life in this damned city. Daily outings... Fun, enjoyable, because only within their circle. They're different! They don't want to talk to someone they haven't known since childhood. They're reluctant to accept new people into their company, and such things usually end badly. When they together... When one of them stands on the brink of death, they shake his hand. "Police! You idiot! We're leaving, man!"... I was here before them... I watched the day change here... Now nothing makes sense! Absolutely nothing! They're adults! They left! They left home! Only the poorest and alcoholics remain. Do they speak to each other? Sometimes... They beat their wives... No... They have no wives... Children... I was here before them. And now I've returned and found only a few of them. It's so sad... I left too... Goodbye, brothers! Hello, brothers! I'm alone now! They don't recognize me, but they deliberately pass me by... They don't want to talk to me because they know I'm a collaborator like the others. Everyone's left... But what? Was I supposed to be here? To end up like them? A mistake... That's how I ended up... I talk too much... But now I know... I'm lost without her... No light at the end of the tunnel, even if death awaits. I was supposed to stay there because I'm already a sucker enough to pretend everything's okay... The old way... What's "the old way"? The way it is now? The way it was a year ago? The way it was ten years ago? I don't want to think...
* * *
She snuggled into him... Her tears? His? No... It was rain... Then a new day began.
"We're together! A new life! We're young," the boy began. "
Because we... Because none of this happened... It's just my dream... Mine and yours," the girl added.
"Yes... Ours together... From today on, everything will be ours..."
* * *
What is suffering? Pain? Our lives... We gaze at the paltry stars that occasionally appear in the sky. There haven't been any brawls in the bar across the street for a long time. We won't change the world, though we want so much... To write a letter to our guardian angel and beg him for the impossible. For a handful of green grass sprouting from the ground. Windows and fresh air. Trees in the distance... I beg for freedom! For a place where no one will kill me for misplacing my foot on the sidewalk! I glance at my watch! The last bomb in the world is about to explode... It will destroy everything! Now! Destroy us! We want light! The end! We and the world! This is what we're waiting for! Nothing... What sadness...? I didn't ask for anything greater than a meal and a warm roof over our heads. We wanted too much... God is tired of hearing our complaints... We're sorry, Lord Creator! Yuk! I no longer look at the rain that paints the city. I don't want to touch the garbage that surrounds this place. Stand with your head held high and fight for your own rights! I stand alone! Does that make sense? Yes... It doesn't... I won't give up and will only leave when I complete the task. My thoughts and feelings. You'll never see me again! I'm leaving! I'm disappearing! I'll be gone soon! This chasm is so vast... I'm afraid... Mom... Simple words... You can't fix the world with one word or deed. Not even a hundred, because remember, it's all a joke! A deception! Something was supposed to happen, and we have nothingness. Emptiness! We are the only ones, alone in the universe! Sadness... I should stop... Where am I leading? NOWHERE... Don't change your path... Go where fate leads you... If God has taken you to Himself, it means that soon you will meet someone who is most important here... You will learn the whole meaning of the world. Don't cry for another person, unless they are more important than God... For me, there are a few people like that...
The oldest remember this, they gave everything to change the world
But their words were too weak, and their strength is no longer in these years
My hands will not bring good, my thoughts, a few words
These are dreams placed at the highest level of virtues
I believed in your words, I feel the bitter taste of life
The moon illuminates the world today, but it has none of the stars
Because my hands are too weak to carry the meaning of life
So I will ask this last time, may God save the day...
