Channelling - in a few words 2

In reality, there is no such thing as communication with the "dead." We tend to see life in physical terms, but life is a spiritual reality that, for us, is currently embedded in physical form.

While misguided entities cannot physically harm you, their influence can cause negative side effects that can make your experience less fulfilling or enjoyable, if any negative personality could. For this reason, it's important to establish a strong system of protection and awareness when attempting channeling. Observing and following this guidance can protect us from the troubles that result from contact with such unfortunate "sources."

Some preparation is also necessary if we expect to be a pure and responsible channel. To this end, it is generally inadvisable to engage in any form of channeling without having acquired some skill in meditation.

Meditation makes us more focused and loving. It also serves as a shield against contact with negative spiritual personalities. Meditation should be practiced daily; besides improving our ability to channel clearly, it is the most important thing that can develop our spiritual life.

Your spirit guides can become your lifelong friends and advisors because they have a wonderful external view of our lives and life in general. They have access to information without which we could not exist. They help us deepen our understanding of ourselves and support us in times of crisis. Contacting these spiritual friends is not at all difficult. There is no loss of control over our bodies, and there is nothing to fear, as we can relinquish control whenever we wish.

Spiritual friends, like physical friends, should always be treated with respect. We shouldn't force them to play games or answer a bunch of trivial questions (questions aren't trivial when they're important to us). Perhaps the most serious mistake we can make is becoming too dependent on our guides, for this can lead to losing them. Like true friends, our guides don't want us to be dependent on them.

The process of channeling with our spirit guides is truly a profound adventure. It can take weeks or months to develop this skill, but it is an astonishing process that yields invaluable, lasting results.
