Compassion - the gateway to developed psychic abilities

This article explores the connection between compassion and developed psychic abilities, suggesting that true intuition and perception beyond conventional methods emerge as a result of increased spiritual awareness. The author emphasizes that compassion, which can be cultivated through meditation and empathy exercises, leads to a deeper understanding of others' emotions. Compassion becomes a key element in achieving higher spiritual and psychic states, opening the door to phenomena that may seem supernatural.

True psychic ability, which is the natural growth of what may seem like a meta-normal state for receiving and recognizing information beyond the conventional means usually used for this purpose, occurs only as a direct response to an increase in one's spiritual level of awareness. Of course, heightened intuition often occurs in everyone from time to time, and the common view is that some people are born with, more than others, a noticeable psychic or intuitive state of "knowing." What I'm talking about now is a true, manifest, and highly developed state of all-encompassing awareness, providing both knowledge and cognitive awareness of things, situations, and temporary outcomes to which we normally have no access. True psychic awareness is confirmed, as it is, by a sudden "leap" that bypasses the usual steps necessary for acquiring knowledge and awareness. A person with true psychic ability is said to "just know" things, without using the familiar methods of acquiring knowledge. Whatever information a psychic person is seeking, that information is suddenly there, in the mind, as a "holographic" and completely complete image.
As I have already mentioned, while some people seem to naturally possess a certain amount of psychic perception, others can only increase it—indeed, to a significant and astonishing degree—by using only two methods, both of which have as their primary result an expansion and higher level of spiritual awareness. These two methods are:

1) Meditation accompanied by individual exercises designed specifically to increase spiritual and psychic awareness, such as the exercise called "Middle Pillar" (you can find its description at www.tomorrowsprophecy.com)

and

2) Compassion, a higher state of awareness and empathy for the suffering, suffering and greater happiness of other people. Compassion, which can only be increased by a true and sincere willingness to put oneself in the place of others, the so-called "walk in someone else's shoes", naturally grows, somewhat exponentially, as a direct consequence and side effect of meditation
To explore this process, which naturally occurs when a person increases their awareness and sensitivity to the feelings and psychic states of others, it is sometimes helpful to design a personal visualization exercise or to employ an existing and proven visualization method whose specific goal and effect is to imagine themselves in the circumstances and emotional state of another person. Of course, the subject of this exercise could be anyone, someone you know, someone you've seen, or simply someone you know who seems to be going through some kind of struggle or other life difficulty. In this imaginative attempt to experience what people are currently experiencing, "feeling" something of what they must be feeling now, and "reacting," also imaginatively, to any difficulties, feelings, or other outcomes brought to your awareness by this exercise, the individual momentarily and imaginatively "swaps places" with the other person. This exercise could come at the end of your regular meditation session, as a kind of break from your meditative, daily routine.

The benefits gained from such an exercise cannot be fully appreciated until they are experienced. To put it simply, such an exercise, if performed correctly in the right state of mind, directly results in a phenomenal increase in the individual's empathetic mind, where you are, at least temporarily, in the thoughts and feelings of others. Compassion becomes as natural to you as breathing. The only result can be true spiritual development and growth. How could it be otherwise? After all, here you have, for all practical purposes, "places enriched" by everything, in every meaningful and experiential way.
What happens as you practice this exercise for spiritual and psychic expansion of consciousness is that your mind (as it is) develops an awareness, a natural and automatic response to the feelings, views, and thoughts of others. In addition to what you have achieved and added to the spiritual toolbox of your noumenal life, one of the greatest blessings and gifts anyone can ever receive is what the Buddha called one of the key components of the "Four Noble States of Mind"—namely, true compassion
