Obsessive Love 4

## Chapter 51: Adam - The Fall

Adam sat on the stairs in the dark passageway between buildings. He was trembling, as if it wasn't fear that gripped him, but something deeper—despair.

Thoughts swirled in his head:

"I just wanted to talk. Why don't they understand? Why does she do what they want? She knows me. She's always known me."

He began to write hastily in his notebook, his hands trembling:

"Lena, I won't let them hurt you. I won't let him have you. I won't disappear. Not this time."

## Chapter 52: Marek - Growing Anger

Marek was starting to get tired of waiting. Tired of hiding, tired of Lena's fear.

"He's dangerous," he said to one of the detectives. "If you don't stop him, it'll be a tragedy."

The detective looked him straight in the eye.

"We'll do everything we can. But Adam doesn't act like a typical stalker." He acts like someone who truly believes he's saving. And such people are unpredictable.

## Chapter 53: Betrayal of the Senses

That evening, Lena sat in Marek's apartment. The police had ordered them to stay inside; the door was double-locked. A camera mounted in the stairwell transmitted images to the police car below.

And yet, Lena still felt Adam was somewhere close. Like a shadow behind the window. Like a breath in the darkness.

At one point, she heard a faint creak.

"Marek... do you hear that?"

Marek froze.

The creak repeated, louder this time.

## Chapter 54: The Roof

Adam climbed to the roof of the tenement building. The rain was falling hard, water pouring down his face. He looked down at the window of the apartment where Lena was.

He had a plan. Too bold. Too desperate. But the only one his mind could create.

"I need to see her. Without him. Just the two of us. She'll understand."

## Chapter 55: Break-in

The creak Lena heard came from the balcony window. As she approached, she saw a tree branch tapping against the glass.

"It's just the wind," Marek said, taking a deep breath.

But when they turned around, they didn't notice that the skylight was slightly ajar.

## Chapter 56: Entrance

Adam climbed down the metal frame from the roof, carefully. He slipped through the window at the top of the staircase and began his descent.

Quiet. Too quiet. He knew this building, knew the layout of the apartments. He knew Lena was on the second floor.

## Chapter 57: Climax

The silence in the apartment was almost palpable. Lena rose from the couch.

"Something's wrong," she whispered.

And then they heard footsteps. One slow, drawn-out step in the hallway in front of the door. Marek looked at her with fear.

"Someone's here."

Another step. A figure approached the door. She stopped. And after a moment, they heard a familiar voice:

"Lena... please. Open up. I don't want to hurt you."

## Chapter 58: The Voice Behind the Door

Marek approached the door slowly, and Lena held her breath. Adam begged to speak with him, but Marek warned that he couldn't enter without the police.

## Chapter 59: Lock and Breakthrough

The doorknob creaked, and the door slowly opened. Adam stood behind them—pale, gaunt, eyes gleaming with anxiety.

"I wrote everything down... the whole plan. How I get you back," he whispered.

Marek stood between them. Lena held her breath.

## Chapter 60: Struggle

Marek collided with Adam. They both fell to the floor. Adam began to choke Marek. Lena grabbed a lamp and struck Adam, allowing the police to enter and subdue him.

## Chapter 61: After the Fall

Adam was taken away. Lena embraced Marek, feeling relief. Silence reigned in the apartment—intimate, trembling, after the fight for survival.

## Chapter 62: The Last Look

Adam stared at Lena as he was taken away. There was no fire in his eyes, no love, no hatred—only emptiness. The police car door slammed shut.

## Chapter 63: The Silent Months

Weeks passed, then months. Adam was in a treatment center. Lena returned to life, to therapy, regaining control of herself.

## Chapter 64: The Letter

One autumn afternoon, Lena found a letter from Adam in the mailbox. He wrote about his transformation, apologizing for the wrongs and informing them that he was working on himself.

## Chapter 65: The Decision

Lena decided to go to the center to close the chapter and hear the truth from Adam in person.

## Chapter 66: The Meeting

Adam was calm, his eyes less agitated. Lena sat across from him. They spoke honestly about the past and its consequences.

## Chapter 67: The Last Touch

Lena touched his arm—gently, a gesture of forgiveness. Adam felt relief; there was no longer any obsession or regret in him.

## Chapter 68: Return to the Light

Lena left the center, the air brighter. Marek was waiting at home, and Lena felt the future clear for the first time—she had closed the door on the past.

## Chapter 69: Conclusion—A Silent Reconciliation

Adam, Lena, and Marek began their lives anew. Adam continued to work on himself in therapy. Lena was calm and free from fear. Their meeting at the facility was the final point in their shared, difficult history. Their worlds met in light, not darkness, and that light was enough for each of them to move on.
