Obsessive Love

## Prologue

Rain fell on the deserted city streets, blurring the streetlights into shimmering, golden streaks. In this chaos of light and shadow stood he—Adam. His gaze, hidden beneath his hood, was fixed on a single window on the third floor of the building. In that light, behind a thin curtain, moved the silhouette of a woman whose name he knew better than his own thoughts. Lena.

## Chapter 1: Meeting

Adam first saw Lena in the library, among shelves filled with old volumes. Suddenly, everything around him slowed down, as if the world were trying to freeze a moment just for him. He didn't know then that this meeting would spark something that would take over every aspect of his life.

Lena was unlike anyone else—at least in his eyes. Her gentle smile, subtle gestures, and quiet confidence made Adam feel something he had never experienced before. Fascination blossomed into something deeper.

## Chapter 2: Getting Closer

Adam tried to be where Lena was. He feigned chance encounters, observed her from a distance, memorized her. He paid attention to every detail: how she wore her hair, the voice she used to speak to friends, which books she borrowed.

Over time, Lena began to notice his presence. She smiled politely, sometimes swapping sentences. Adam interpreted every gesture as a sign—as proof that she was starting to feel something too.

## Chapter 3: Growing Obsession

Thinking about Lena became not only important to Adam, but necessary. Her absence hurt. When he didn't see her for several days, he felt as if he were losing control of reality.

He bought a notebook in which he began to record every observation, every word, every gesture of Lena's. Over time, the notebooks grew larger. Adam knew what time she left for work, her walking routes, who she spoke to.

He didn't see anything wrong with it—he believed this was what true love looked like.

## Chapter 4: Crossing Boundaries

One day, Adam summoned the courage to write a letter. Full of emotion, full of delight, full of a desire he could no longer control. But he didn't have the courage to hand it to her. Instead, he slipped it under her door.

When Lena read the letter, she was surprised, perhaps even worried. She began to scan the street as she walked home. For the first time, Adam saw fear in her eyes—but he didn't understand it.

## Chapter 5: The Next Phase

Adam could no longer function without feeling close to her. He began following her after dark. He waited outside her house, secretly watching her windows. He felt that this was his way of protecting her, that only he could truly understand her.

There were days when Lena felt eyes on her. She returned home more quickly, began to change her daily routes. Adam interpreted this as part of the game their love imposed on the world.

## Chapter 6: The Rupture

One day, Lena decided to talk to Adam. She stopped him in front of the library and looked him straight in the eye. There was no anger in her gaze, only incomprehension and anxiety.

"Adam... what you're doing makes me feel uncomfortable," she said.

The words were a blow to him. In his mind, love was something beautiful, something that should unite. He couldn't understand why she didn't feel the same way.

## Chapter 7: The Fall

After the conversation, Adam began to lose touch with reality. His thoughts became increasingly chaotic. He believed Lena was being manipulated by those around her, that someone was keeping them apart.

At night, he would appear at her door, sometimes whispering her name, other times leaving flowers. Each rejection hurt him more and more.

## Chapter 8: Confrontation

Lena reported the matter to the police, though she desperately didn't want to. Adam didn't understand why the officers had suddenly appeared, why he had been forbidden from approaching the person he loved above all else.

He tried to explain that it was a mistake, that he meant no harm—but the words echoed in the cold, unwavering procedure.

## Chapter 9: Silence

Straight away from Lena, Adam sank into silence. His world lost meaning. The notes he had kept for months became the only remnant of her presence.

Every day, he battled with himself whether to break the ban and see her, even for a moment. Increasingly, he teetered on the brink of a decision that could destroy everything.

## Epilogue

One night, Adam disappeared. His apartment was empty, abandoned in a hurry. All that remained were stacks of notebooks filled with writing.

Looking at them, Lena didn't know whether to feel relief, fear, or sympathy. Although she was the victim of his obsession, she knew one thing—Adam truly believed he loved her.

And sometimes it's the illusion of love that can be the most terrifying.

## Chapter 10: Adam's Disappearance

When Adam left, the city seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, but something unsaid remained in his shadow. For a few days, Lena tried to function normally, returning to work, seeing friends. But the silence that followed his disappearance was strangely unsettling.

Lena began to wonder if Ad
