# **Week 3 – Inner Fears and Secrets*

### **Day 15 – The Psychology of Fear**

Lena and Marek are beginning to realize that fear in the house isn't just physical, but psychological – it affects thoughts, sleep, and relationships.

Mini-scene:

Lena can't sleep. Every sound in the hallway becomes a threat. "Marek... do we really live here, or is it all just in our heads?" she whispers.

Quote:

> "Silence can be louder than a scream."

**Question for readers:** Do you think our minds can create things that aren't actually there? How would you cope in such a house?

--

### **Day 16 – The Town's Secrets**

The couple tries to learn more about the town's inhabitants. Everyone they meet seems to know more than they're telling.

Mini-scene:

They meet a librarian who interrupts their conversation: "A house doesn't let you forget. Once you've lived there, you're never the same."

Quote:

> "People in this town live with the house as if it were part of their blood."

**Task for readers:** How would you react if everyone around you knew the secret and you didn't?

--

### **Day 17 – Signs in dreams**

Signs on the walls begin to appear in Lena's dreams – increasingly vivid and terrifying.

Mini-scene:

In her dream, Lena stands in an empty hallway, spirals swirling around her as if they had a life of their own. She wakes up screaming, and a cold breeze blows through her bedroom.

Quote:

> "Sometimes what you fear most comes to you in dreams."

**Question for readers:** Can dreams warn of danger? Can intuition be trusted in their interpretation?

--

### **Day 18 – Conflicts and Tensions**

The terror of the house begins to affect their relationship – daily misunderstandings intensify as stress accumulates.

Mini-scene:

Marek, irritated, says, "I can't stand it all anymore!"

Lena replies, "It's not about us, it's about what this house is doing to us!"

Quote:

> "The greatest fears arise not only in the house, but between people."

**Question for readers:** Do you think extreme stress brings people closer together or drives them apart?

--

### **Day 19 – Discovering a Hidden Past**

In a hidden part of the house, the characters discover old photographs and documents – evidence that the previous residents struggled with the same things they did.

Mini-scene:

Lena holds up a photo with the former owner in the background, smiling in the sun. "He looks happy... but was he really?"

Quote:

> "Not all smiles hide happiness; not all silence is peace."

**Question for readers:** Why do you think people choose to live in places full of bad memories?

--

### **Day 20 – Confronting the past**

The last days in the house become decisive – they must confront what lurks in the shadows, both physically and mentally.

Mini-scene:

In the basement, Lena and Marek find old letters from Anna Kurecka, which reveal a secret: the power in the house "lives" on the emotions of its inhabitants.

Quote:

> "It's not enough to escape; you have to understand to survive."

**Question for readers:** Do you think people's emotions can influence a place? What place in your life evokes similar feelings?

--

### **Day 21 – Farewell and Reflection**

The couple leaves their home. Although physically away from the cliff, they still feel the presence of the history they left there.

Mini-scene:

It became clear that some places remain in your memory forever. "Sometimes home doesn't leave you, even though you left home."

Quote:

> "Some secrets stay with us forever—and they shape who we are."

**Question for readers:** Do you think the cliff house is still waiting for new inhabitants? Can history repeat itself?
