Polish clues

In Poland, traces of the Green Man can be found, among others, at Malbork Castle – he guards both entrances to St. Anne's Chapel. One of the sculptures is visible at the top of the arches just above the entrance portal from the moat, another is located above the entrance from the cemetery, and another at the intersection of the cloister ceiling arches.

Many other images of the Green Man can be found throughout Malbork, as the ancient builders, honoring the vital forces of nature, placed them in various places.
