Rose Milk Cake Recipe 🌹

 



Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup whole milk

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 teaspoon rose essence

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

- 1 cup rose syrup (for soaking)

- 1/2 cup heavy cream

- Fresh rose petals for garnish (optional)


Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour

a 9x9-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking

powder, baking soda, and cardamom. Set aside.

3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light

and fluffy. Gradually add the melted butter, milk, and

rose essence, mixing until well combined.

4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and

stir until just mixed. Avoid overmixing.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for

25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center

comes out clean.

6. While the cake bakes, mix the rose syrup and heavy

cream in a bowl. Once the cake is done, remove it from

the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

7. Poke holes all over the cake with a fork, then pour the

rose syrup mixture evenly over the top. Let it soak for at

least 30 minutes.

8. Slice and serve, garnished with fresh rose petals if

desired.

Tips:

- For a nutty variation, add 1/2 cup of chopped almonds

or pistachios to the batter for extra crunch.

- Substitute rose essence with a few drops of rose water

if you prefer a lighter flavor, or experiment with saffron

for a twist.

- Serve chilled with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla

ice cream to enhance the floral notes and make it a

refreshing summer dessert.
