The film's promotional poster says it best: "Enemies because they were taught to be... Allies because they had to be... Brothers because they dared to be. You absolutely must see this film!"
DREAMSCAPE" (1984) - Starring Dennis Quaid, Max von Sydow, Christopher Plummer, Eddie Albert, Kate Capshaw, and George Wendt. A parapsychologist (Dennis Quaid) uses his powers to lead a normal life. An old schoolmate conducting research on "Dreamlinking" (a project involving the transfer of one person's consciousness to another in dreams) invites Quaid to participate. Another psychic participant begins murdering people through their dreams. Quaid fights the killer in the President's dream. As they fight, the killer takes the form of a human reptilian and attacks with unprecedented ferocity.
"THEODORE REX" - Starring Whoopi Goldberg and a seven-foot-tall, upright-walking, talking dinosaur working side by side to overcome an evil destiny. Near the end of the film, there's a scene where the audience is told, "Vulnerability, scale, are the words that hold us apart. Our survival lies in all species treating each other with compassion, kindness, and respect." Following this, the dinosaur tells Whoopi Goldberg, "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship," and with the words, "See you later," slowly fades into darkness.
