Sunshine Dream Lemon Tart Recipe 🍋

 



Ingredients:  

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour  

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed  

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar  

- 1 egg yolk  

- 4 large eggs  

- 1 cup granulated sugar  

- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice  

- 2 tablespoons lemon zest  

- 1/2 cup heavy cream  

- Powdered sugar for dusting  


Directions:  

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch

tart pan.  

2. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, and 1/4 cup sugar.

Use your fingers to mix until it resembles breadcrumbs,

then add the egg yolk and knead into a dough. Press the

dough evenly into the tart pan.  

3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then remove from the

oven and let it cool slightly.  

4. In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup sugar, eggs,

lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream until smooth.  

5. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust. Bake for an

additional 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set but still

slightly jiggly in the center.  

6. Let the tart cool completely at room temperature, then

refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Dust with

powdered sugar before slicing.

Tips:  

- For a fruity twist, add fresh berries like raspberries on

top before serving.  

- Substitute lime juice and zest for a tangy citrus

variation.  

- Enhance the flavor by infusing the cream with vanilla

extract for a creamier texture.
