REIKI IS SPIRITUALLY GENERATED LIFE ENERGY

REIKI is also the name of a system for transmitting this energy to oneself and others through the laying on of hands and special meditations. Its roots lie in ancient, lost cultures in the Himalayas, where Tibet is now located. It was rediscovered by the Japanese monk Dr. Mikao Usui in the second half of the 19th century. The astonishing simplicity of using this system stems from the fact that it is not taught in a literal sense. Opening oneself to the UNIVERSAL HEALING ENERGY is accomplished by a Reiki Master during an initiation ritual. From the very first moments afterward, we can transmit it to ourselves and others. What remains to be learned are the hand positions on one's own or the patient's body, ensuring that the energy reaches all the organs that need it.
