Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Brownies

 



Ingredients:


For the brownies:

- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 4 large eggs

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


For the chocolate ganache:

- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

- 1/2 cup heavy cream


For the topping:

- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

- Optional: extra chocolate shavings or drizzle


Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch

baking dish with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter,

granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined.

3. Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until the mixture is

thick and glossy.

4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

Stir just until combined.

5. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and spread

evenly.

6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in

the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool

completely.


7. For the ganache, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until

just simmering. Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl, let

sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.

8. Spread ganache evenly over the cooled brownies.


9. Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the ganache

while it's still soft. Press gently so they adhere.

10. Optional: sprinkle chocolate shavings or drizzle more

chocolate over the strawberries.

11. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set before slicing into

squares.
