Chocolate Vanilla Swirl Crepes

 



Ingredients:


For the crepes:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 1/4 cups milk

- 2 tablespoons melted butter

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Pinch of salt


For the vanilla cream filling:

- 1 1/2 cups cold heavy cream

- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese

- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


For the chocolate sauce:

- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

- 1/4 cup heavy cream


Toppings:

- Whipped cream

- Vanilla and chocolate ice cream scoops

- Powdered sugar for dusting

- Chocolate drizzle


Directions:


1. In a mixing bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and

salt. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted

butter, and vanilla.

2. Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry mixture,

whisking until smooth. Let the batter rest for 15–20

minutes.

3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly

grease it and pour about 1/4 cup of batter. Swirl to coat

the pan evenly. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side. Repeat

with remaining batter.

4. For the vanilla cream, beat the cold heavy cream until

soft peaks form. Add mascarpone, powdered sugar, and

vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and thick.

5. In a small saucepan, heat the chocolate chips and

cream over low heat until melted and smooth. Stir

continuously. Set aside to cool slightly.

6. To assemble, spread vanilla cream inside each crepe

and fold into triangles.

7. Drizzle with chocolate sauce, add whipped cream, and

top with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream.

8. Finish with a dusting of powdered sugar and an extra

chocolate drizzle for a dreamy finish.
