Directions:
1. **Prepare the Cream Layer:**
- In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks
form.
- In another bowl, mix softened mascarpone, powdered
sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone
mixture until well combined.
2. **Prepare the Limoncello Syrup:**
- In a shallow dish, combine limoncello liqueur, fresh
lemon juice, and lemon zest.
3. **Assemble the Tiramisu:**
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the limoncello syrup,
ensuring they are moist but not soggy.
- Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of
a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the
ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and
the remaining mascarpone cream.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3.5 hours to allow
flavors to meld.
4. **Serve:**
- Before serving, dust the top with powdered sugar and
garnish with additional lemon zest and fresh mint leaves
if desired.
