Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich

 



Ingredients:


Sandwich:

2 boneless chicken breasts, cooked & sliced

(350 g)

1 ripe avocado, sliced

(150 g)

4 slices sourdough or ciabatta bread

4 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

(15 ml)

Salt & black pepper, to taste


Optional Add-Ons:

Sliced tomato, red onion, spinach, or bacon


Garlic Mayo Spread:

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

(30 g)

1 small garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon lemon juice

(5 ml)


Directions:


Mix mayo, garlic, and lemon juice. Spread on bread.


Layer chicken, avocado, cheese, and any add-ons on two

slices. Top with remaining bread.


Heat oil or butter in skillet over medium. Grill sandwiches

3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.


Slice and serve hot.
