Matcha Lava Pound Cake

 


Ingredients:  

1 cup all-purpose flour  

1/2 tsp baking powder  

1/4 tsp salt  

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened  

1 cup sugar  

2 large eggs  

2 tbsp matcha powder  

1/2 cup milk  

1 tsp vanilla extract  


Instructions:  

1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and

grease a loaf pan.  

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder,

and salt with a whisk.  

3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar

together until the mixture is light and fluffy.  

4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, ensuring to mix

well after each addition.  

5. Add the matcha powder, milk, and vanilla extract into

the mixture.  

6. Carefully fold in the dry ingredients until everything is

just combined.  

7. Pour the cake batter into the greased loaf pan.  

8. Bake it in the oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until a

toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.  

9. Allow your cake to cool before slicing and serving.
