Pistachio Cream Croissants

 



Ingredients:  

Croissant dough  

1 cup pistachios, shelled  

1/2 cup powdered sugar  

1/2 cup heavy cream  

1 teaspoon vanilla extract  

Pinch of salt  


Instructions:  

1. Begin by heating your oven as directed on the

croissant dough package.  

2. In a food processor, combine the shelled pistachios,

powdered sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt.

Blend until you achieve a smooth consistency to create

the pistachio cream.  

3. Roll out the croissant dough and cut it into triangle

shapes.  

4. Take a spoonful of the pistachio cream and place it at

the wide end of each triangle, then carefully roll the

dough up from that end.  

5. Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with

parchment paper and bake them according to the

croissant dough package directions until they turn

golden brown.  

6. Let the croissants cool for a few moments before

serving.
