Salted Caramel Basque Cheesecake

 



Ingredients:

2 cups cream cheese  

1 cup heavy cream  

1 cup granulated sugar  

4 large eggs  

1 teaspoon vanilla extract  

1/2 teaspoon salt  

1 cup caramel sauce  

1 tablespoon flour (optional for stability)  


Instructions:

1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and

greasing a 9-inch springform pan.  

2. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese until it becomes

smooth.  

3. Next, add the heavy cream, granulated sugar, eggs,

vanilla extract, and salt, and blend everything together

until it’s fully incorporated. If you're using flour for added

stability, mix it in at this stage.  

4. Carefully pour the prepared batter into the greased

springform pan.  

5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top has a

golden brown color and the center remains slightly jiggly.

 

6. Once baked, take the cheesecake out of the oven and

allow it to cool down.  

7. Before serving, generously drizzle the salted caramel

sauce over the cheesecake. You can enjoy it warm or

chilled!
