Sweet Elegance in Every Slice Recipe 🍰

 


Ingredients:  

- 2 cups all-purpose flour  

- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar  

- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened  

- 3 large eggs  

- 1 cup whole milk  

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract  

- 2 teaspoons baking powder  

- 1/2 teaspoon salt  


Directions:  

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour

a 9-inch round cake pan.  

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar

until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating

well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.  

3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking

powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the

wet mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just

combined.  

4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the

top. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in

the center comes out clean.  

5. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then

transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.

Tips:  

- For a fruity twist, fold in 1 cup of fresh berries like

cream for an extra elegant presentation.
