Texas Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe 🍫
Ingredients:
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the
unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn
syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until
well combined.
3. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecan halves until
evenly distributed.
4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until
the center is set and the crust is golden brown. If the
edges brown too quickly, cover them with foil.
6. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool completely
on a wire rack before slicing.
