Ingredients
3 Eggs
2 Red Onions
60g Chips
1/2 cup Flour
100g Water
100g Parmesan Cheese
Mayonnaise
Peel and finely chop the onion. Add water and half a teaspoon each of salt and sugar to the flour and mix thoroughly. The result should be a fairly runny dough. Next, dip the chopped onion into the dough for 10-15 seconds, remove it, and let it sit for a few minutes to allow any excess dough to drain.
Hard-boil the eggs and finely chop or grate them. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Finely crumble the chips with your hands. Do not mix the ingredients yet.
Heat 3-5 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a frying pan and fry the onion for 8-12 minutes over medium heat until golden brown. Remove the fried onions and place them on parchment paper or a napkin. Let them sit for 5 minutes to cool and absorb excess oil.
Toss the fried onions with crushed chips. Spread the mixture in an even layer in a salad bowl. Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese and spread more mayonnaise on top and, if desired, on the sides (for a more attractive look). Add a final layer of grated eggs.
