It was a beautiful spring morning. Everything was coming to life. Flowers were blooming, and everything was taking on the colors of life. Even Catrin was more cheerful that day, all because her friend Victor was coming to Parmendo, where she lived.
Catrin was the daughter of Joshi and Adam Laitz, who had died in a car accident a few years earlier. She was a bright girl, fond of ghost stories, and interested in magic. Through her passions, she met Victor, whose parents were famous magicians with the equally famous surname Richardson.
It was late afternoon when Victor finally arrived in Parmendo. Catrin was very happy, as she hadn't seen her friend in a long time.
"Hello, Victor, I couldn't wait to see you!" Catrin exclaimed in greeting. "
Good morning." He replied, ran up to the girl, and hugged her tightly... "I missed you, Catrin..."
Walking along the banks of the Samtor River, they shared stories of their adventures. Suddenly, Victor spoke:
"Cat..." (that's what he called the girl), "I want to tell you something..." "
I'm listening," she replied.
"I know something you don't know yet... That's why I came here...
" "About what?" Worried, Catrin took a larger step toward the river.
"Your parents... They're not dead... They're alive!"
Cat didn't answer; tears filled her eyes, and she felt her heart clench. They walked and walked, and Catrin still said nothing. Finally, Victor spoke:
"I know this is a shock to you, but I know this much, from my uncle Leo, who only knows that they're alive." He fell silent, until finally he spoke again: "But I don't know where they are... I'm sorry, Cat... that you're finding out this way...
" "Oh..." Victor, tears welled in her eyes... Victor..."
"Don't say anything... I know how you feel..." Victor whispered, very quietly.
"But, but... what are we going to do now? We have to find them!!!" "
We will," he replied, promising, "and now, at least, I want to show you something.
" They reached a large clearing, filled with beautiful wildflowers... It was probably the most beautiful place in Parmendo.
At one point, they stopped. Victor approached his friend and kissed her. It was the first time he had kissed this woman, though he had long dreamed of it. Catrin was 17, while Victor was a year older.
He sat down on the grass, which was greener than ever before. And he sat Cat on his lap.
"What are you doing?!" Catrin asked, surprised. He'd never been like this with her before; they'd always been just friends. "
I'm kissing you..."
She didn't answer... After a long moment, however, she replied:
"I think it's time to go home..."
"Yes, let's go... I'm exhausted..."
When they entered Catrin's house, Victor's eyes were filled with delight. The cottage was extraordinary; the walls were made of wood, in fact, everything was. In the living room, a huge cream-colored carpet lay in the center, and to the right of the entrance was a large fireplace burning wood. Across from it was a large, beautiful painting depicting Catrin as a little girl riding a horse. On the other side of this enormous room was a sofa with two colorful pillows on it. Next to it stood a table with a vase and in the vase a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers, clearly picked early that morning.
"Cat... I see you've changed a lot in the house... It's beautiful!" Victor sighed
. "Thank you... let's move on to the bedroom.
The bedroom was probably the most beautiful room in the entire house... straight ahead was a large window with beautiful ornate curtains and a net curtain whiter than snow. The walls were a deep red... In the center stood a magnificent, large bed. Covered with soft, clean white sheets, and scattered on the sheets were red pillows. The entire room was filled with a hint of magic.
"It's so beautiful here!" Victor marveled. "So where will I sleep?"
"Here," she replied.
"And you?" Victor asked, surprised, knowing there wasn't a second bedroom in the house.
"Me too.
" Victor's face showed surprise, but he tried to hide it.
Night fell. Catrin and Victor ate dinner together. Catrin, smiling, suggested,
"So?! Who's going to the bathroom first?
" "Of course you..." he replied.
Once they were both bathed and changed into their night clothes, they went to bed.
Two other teenagers lay in the beautiful bed, wondering where to begin their search.
"If only I had a wand I could use to find my family..." "
I know a little magic, I could try!"
Cat turned to Victor and kissed him on the lips. Every minute was connected to the next move. At one point, Victor spoke:
"Remember that text I wrote for you years ago...?"
"Which one...?" There were so many I can't remember.
He began to speak:
...Candlelight...
A twinkle in the eye...
Two people...
Wine on the side...
And they began the love game, because they wanted it too...
He kisses her...
She feels his touch lavish her...
It's a tender, passionate touch... "
I remember, now, it seems perfectly suited to the situation.
" "Yes, Cat..."
There was a silence...
"So?! How will we find our parents?" asked Catrin. "
Tomorrow we'll go into town. We'll need to buy some spices, essential for preparing a spell that might help us."
And so they did. At dawn, they set off for the city and bought everything they needed.
"Now we have to make the broth!" Victor said in a commanding tone.
They made the necessary broth. It only works at sunset, so they had to wait another hour. Meanwhile, Catrin had the brilliant idea to eat dinner. She recognized that Victor was eager to eat something. She prepared a vegetable dish, and Victor set the table. After the meal, sunrise was still 15 minutes away.
"Great! We still have to prepare everything," Victor said encouragingly.
They went outside, stopping at a round table. Cat pulled out a pot of broth, and Victor brought a souvenir photo of Catrin's parents.
The moment had come; all they had to do was pour the broth over the photo... and a voice would announce where their parents were. And so it happened... The voice said,
"Joshi and Adam Laitz, Catrin Laitz's parents, are in the town of Newmeals, at 1081 Ceanberry Street."
Catrin was astonished, and so was Victor. "
Cat!! Newmeals is only twelve kilometers from here!! We can start searching tomorrow morning!!!!!!" Victor exclaimed happily. "Victor
... let's go to the bedroom... I won't sleep, but I want to thank you!"
They went to the bedroom... Cat lay down under the soft sheets and asked Victor to lie down next to her.
"I love you..." she whispered. "Please... Don't say anything. Let this moment last forever."
He kissed her very tenderly... They made love all night long, without saying a word... Not to mention... They were simply too comfortable.
In the morning... Victor woke up first, took a shower, and made Catrin breakfast. It wasn't much, because he only found Delkinds and milk—fresh oat purlins and milk. He carried Catrin to bed while he prepared everything for the trip.
When Catrin finally got up, they set off. The train journey was short but quite tiring. When they reached their destination... the girl felt a twinge of fear, which soon turned into anxiety.
Standing just outside the door, Victor kissed her and knocked on the door. "
Good morning, is that Mr. and Mrs. Laitz?" he asked politely.
"Yes, what's the matter?" replied Joshi, Catrin's mother.
"It's me, Mommy!! Catrin..." her daughter shouted.
"Adam!!! Come quickly!!! Catrin... I thought... we thought... you were dead!!!!" her mother cried out with tears in her eyes.
"And I... I thought it was you... that you..." she didn't finish.
Catrin and Victor decided to invite their parents to Permendo. There, they met Victor's parents and informed the family they were getting married. Of course, it happened. Two months later, Catrin and Victor were married, the happiest people in the world, when they learned they were having a child.
The second part of the story will be released soon...
