Legacy of the Necromancers

She walked down a dark cemetery alley, her raven-black hair blowing in the stormy wind. She was very young for someone possessing such immense powers. Her eyes glowed with a piercing light, the evil burning within them capable of destroying anything within their reach in an instant. Molleandra—as she called herself—was twelve years old and the sole rightful heir to the oldest necromantic family ever to walk the earth. Dark knowledge passed down from generation to generation could fall into the wrong hands; all hope for preserving a tradition stretching back centuries rested with this young necromancer. From a young age, arcane teachings were instilled in her. Her first words caused a gale that killed three people, and five more have yet to be found. She possessed incredible potential, surpassed only by her ambition to be the most powerful dark ruler the world had ever known. She wandered the cemetery streets as if she had known them for centuries, repeating to herself a counting rhyme—a key, also passed down from generation to generation, a map leading to a secret sanctuary. Only there could the most powerful and difficult ritual, summoning the all-powerful demon of destruction, be performed. Molleandra knew this was her last and only chance to save her family and ascend to the pinnacle of power. And the stakes were enormous—domination over the entire world.

"Reach the fallen tree; follow the direction of the left hand. Turn quickly behind you; follow the sign in the sky..." Molleandra repeated softly. The words of the childish rhyme—but with such profound meaning!—were etched deeply into her memory. She couldn't make a mistake, couldn't hesitate for a moment.

Finally, she reached the end of her journey. A sight unfathomable to any ordinary mortal unfolded before her. A vast mausoleum, invisible from more than ten meters away—the work of dark magic. The thick stone walls were marked with ancient runes that even Molleandra, despite her knowledge, couldn't decipher. They undoubtedly held immense power, incomprehensible to many. She stood before enormous doors adorned with carvings of monsters so terrifying that even she—the heir to immense power—feared them. But she had no time to show weakness—she stepped inside and headed down a dark, narrow corridor. The gate slammed shut behind her with a dull thud. Unable to see anything, she drew the torch from her belt and lit it with her diabolical abilities. The corridor glowed with a silent light. Walls covered in a slimy slime, fragments of bone visible within. Molleandra was a necromancer and the sole heir to a great and powerful dynasty—of course—but she was also twelve years old and wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. She ran down a corridor that seemed to circle the monumental structure, running faster and faster until the image of a vast room with a blood-stained altar in the center caught her eye. She approached it, fearful but also aware of her duty, and lit the five black candles that stood around it. Standing at the top of the pedestal, she drew a dagger from her side and slashed the middle finger of her left hand. Blood began to flow like mad, flowing onto the altar and then onto the ground in small grooves Molleandra hadn't noticed before. These grooves formed a pentagram, each of the five black candles atop it. As the star on the floor filled with the girl's blood, the candles glowed with double intensity, and a strange, black aura filled the interior.

"Now or never," the terrified girl whispered, "Demon, I summon you!! Come to my call!!

Silence." Molleandra knew demons shouldn't be rushed, but perhaps this one hadn't heard her? She was opening her mouth to summon him again when that terrifying sound reached her ears:

" MOOLLLYYY!!! " The voice seemed to come from another world. Suddenly, everything began to blur and swirl before her eyes.

"Molly!! Go to sleep now, how many times do I have to tell you!?

" "But Mom, just a moment!" The little necromancer's voice was filled with fear at the menacing and all-powerful figure of her mother. The world that had surrounded her moments before vanished completely. It was replaced by a room painted pink and filled with plush toys. She hated her room.

"Someday I will claim a dark legacy, and you will be the one to do my bidding, you'll see!" she said as quietly as she could.

"What are you muttering under your breath? I said, 'Go to bed!' And stop playing these stupid games, because nothing good will come of them in your life!

" "Jaasnee...

" "And more enthusiasm, or you'll never watch 'The X-Files' again!"

Molly, thanks to her demonic abilities, was in bed in two seconds. She closed her eyes, and the world was plunged into darkness again...
