Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 ripe banana, mashed (plus extra slices for topping)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional, for
sweetness)
Toppings:
- Fresh raspberries
- Sliced banana
- Raw or roasted almonds
- Dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons hummus or peanut butter (center
topping)
- Sprinkle of toasted quinoa or chia seeds
- Drizzle of honey or maple syrup
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine oats, almond milk,
mashed banana, chia seeds, cinnamon, and vanilla.
2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce to
low and simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently, until
the oats are tender and creamy. Add sweetener if desired.
3. Pour the cooked oatmeal into a bowl and let it rest for
a minute.
4. Arrange the toppings: neatly place the sliced banana
on one side, raspberries beside them, then almonds and
cranberries. Spoon the hummus or nut butter in the
center.
5. Sprinkle with toasted quinoa or chia seeds and drizzle
lightly with honey or maple syrup for a naturally sweet
finish.
6. Serve immediately warm for a cozy breakfast or chill
slightly for a refreshing twist.
