XVI. Rebellious nature.

Rebellious nature.

In 1985, I was already dug out of hiding. At Tereska's, the secret police would drop in,
supposedly for friendly conversations. Then they would get down to business.
Terenia was a modest, shy girl, and they would rummage through her dirty underwear.
I followed them step by step. They weren't ashamed when they examined my panties.
They kept urging me to voluntarily sign the loyalty list,
noting that my signature was dependent on my work.
If I didn't sign, I would look for God's justice in vain.
They were defenders of socialism, and work wasn't due to its enemies.
During one of the calls, secret police officer Gomuła went even further in his threats,
brazenly pointing out that something might happen to my child on the playground.
They had the ability to intimidate, but the fighting spirit within me didn't crumble.
I thought, if it weren't for your position, I'd spit in your eyes, your mother,
he was my guardian, searches. He conducted and mostly interrogated,
that was his happy job, when Rożek from KOR was breaking windows in a greenhouse,
Rysio currently works for the police, to this day I don't know how he acquired those skills,
when the UB officers were being verified, on the commission the guy with the horns and Rożek were in solidarity,
finally they let me go
, allowing me to work legally on the construction site, they stole there to drink, they worked energetically but sloppily, creating rubbish housing estates,
they were country people, they would rush to work after a drink and drink again were on their minds,
I didn't have enough money to keep the money, they drank their wages away, they had to plow,
it was towards spring '86, elements were missing, frosts caused long downtime at work,
wages were piecework, when there was nothing to steal, now they'll drink for something, they were in poverty,
seeing their anger growing, I decided it was time to plow my field,
I rebelled them not to go to work until The commissioner wouldn't come.
The head of the council arrived. I said we'd just talk to the director.
Either way, there was no work on the front line. I had to make sure they didn't cower.
The downtime lasted two days. I publicized it as a strike to get out of trouble with honor.
The management collapsed in large numbers. At the beginning, we were subjected to a barrage of riot gear until they got me going.
As the leader of this commotion, I issued a short demand to them:
the supply of prefabricated materials, as well as the possibility of earning money during the weather breakdown.
The highlight of the program was the recognition, even the reactivation of the Solidarity union.
The latter received great surprise and asked what the reasons for such a request were.
I said that the needs of the working people were not reflected in the existing unions.
Those gathered around me reacted more than the miners, participating lively in the discussion.
These people seemed to be better the next day, this event was an honoring event for them,
but no, they were tense. There were many Ryszards among the crews, we had to have a beer.
Around noon, I was summoned to the manager's office. A secret police Fiat was parked outside the office.
I ostentatiously turned around from the KGR office, returning to the building under construction.
They tried to get to me in their slippers. Construction is a muddy world.
Unable to overcome the run-down slush, they sent two female officers to help.
The militia was also unable to overcome the protective natural obstacles.
I slipped away and ran to Staś, rushing to come to my aid in case of need.
He was once again stoic and calm; What can I advise you, such are the adventures in business,
report my arrest to the Security Service if I don't check in with you by 8 p.m.,
I reported it to the Security Service myself without being brought in, they were very dismayed,
they had nothing against me, the conversation didn't flow, I think it was meant to be intimidating,
Lieutenant Pohodyła was talking to me, three of those plowmen were nesting on the side,
I provoked them, and he suggested I write to them for admission, and there was silence,
I received the paper, I pushed it away after a while, accepting it; You're all intelligent,
pointing to the trinity, the one with the will to fight, and
the drunkard-looking boss also gestured for them to sit down again. Oh, they would have beaten me, they were so sad.
I felt like they were waiting for me to leave. I wasn't in a hurry. The hour was approaching,
they released me after a while. The Security Service was already thundering that justice was being broken in Poland.
For a week, the Security Service and the BBC were tirelessly trumpeting about my arrest and unknown fate.
Stasio finally showed his face. The Security Service (UB) agents were afraid to touch me. I was a known figure.
I only appreciated that over time, when the Security Service (UB) agents weren't around.
After Ryszard, instead of work, the red-haired manager gave me a round of papers and said goodbye. The
HR officer in the office attacked me with a smile. The phone rang, I was asked to leave,
he asked again, he was polite, he gave me a transfer instead of a notice,
he gave me a company car, he said, go home, I was supposed to move to the Lublin construction site.
Gomuła and Kukiełka, sad gentlemen, impatiently awaited my arrival,
always self-confident. Today, in their sadness, my door was occupied by the secret police.
What happened? I asked mockingly about the elevator. Seeing me, they demanded entry into the house.
They said: "Nothing happened, you're free, and the world is listening, his fate is unknown.
How can I undo this now?" I said: "I won't go to you, nor will I let you into the house.
There's only one solution: there are so many thieves, drunks, and slackers. Start working on them."
Stop picking on working people, educate them without bothering anyone.
You'll certainly be remembered for yourselves if you continue this way.
Only now have I started to be completely badass, knowing the cure for inviolability.
A month after these incidents, I declared a strike at my new workplace.
Security Service observers spied on us from neighboring apartment blocks, leaving us alone.
I reported every action on the radio, and I never received any more harassment from anyone.
